Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yes it's my first time i do the promo. I called the telesales through the phone and got it started that way. I am using a Note9, the phone WAS NOT on Freedompop. I don't have any service, whenever i try to connect using the Note9 it says "The device is not registered with an account" My FP account is still open, so nothing there. I don't have a Sprint account because i can't make it with my phone number and apparently i was told they can't give me my Account # for sprint to make one? I did check the porting website and it says :

Please call (888) 211-4727 and when prompted to enter your 10 digit telephone number, enter the number that is moving to Sprint.

Its said since i first started, i called and they told me to wait 4 hours, then i got another email after 4 hours, so i'm going to call right now. I tried the link and it still says "device has not been registered to an account for network service." I'm going to call them Rn and see what happens.

Telesales should be able to help. Even if they have to do a second line on the account with the new number. And then cancel the port with FP on the first line, which can also be done online. Orders and transfers>check transfer status. (of course after you get online.) FP will most likely be no help on weekends if they insist on waiting.

Comintel, any suggestions here?
Your suggestions are good.

As has been mentioned I think, if the poster is happy with just any number at all, he can switch it to another one, say a "number for port" from Ebay which will port in instantly. I personally would first deal with Sprint Port Dept directly at 866-437-1818 to get this done but TeleSales could do it too.

But if he does want that particular number, I would contact FP social media and ask them to expedite it. Many people say they get excellent service from FP on twitter. I certainly have. They are there on weekends. The underlying problem is probably that FP is using a small local carrier in his area that is balky. Often these small carriers shut down porting completely on weekends and outside business hours. But FP can push them if you talk to the right people in FP.

How long you waited to swap IMEI and SIM number? My Xs Max isn't eligible but chat confirmed it is so I am thinking of transferring from T-Mobile while using an iPhone 7. After the account is up, then chat with Sprint to swap to my Xs Max and new SIM
Any progress?

We gave you two different methods top fix it - did you try them?

You don't have to, though.

You were just getting NO for an answer from ignorant low-level sales staff who were blowing you off with a nonsense "not eligible" response which is completely false. Of course the phone is (really) eligible.

Sprint understands EXACTLY what the problem is and it is able to easily fix it in a minute. It is just that early on, phones of this model that were turned on before activation set up an incorrect entry in the database which has to be removed. This can be fixed via the tricks we mentioned but that is not your problem unless you want to get into that. Just request they escalate it when you call. Or if you just cannot do that, ask for help on reddit to get a sympathetic employee who will escalate it for you.

should I need to call sprint to cancel my account? Can I use same sim card from sprint and same phone ?
Porting out cancels the account. Use same sim same phone. Once you give them imei they probably won't ask for the iccid as it's already tied to that imei.

I see in the wiki: "Sprint has raised the administrative fee (from $1.99) to $2.50, which along with the $0.40 regulatory recovery fee = $35/year + e911 fees + taxes"

Just received my first phone bill with 5 lines and they charged me around $25:

$14.52 Sprint Surcharges plus $0.62 Government Taxes and Fees and $9.97 for the "Sprint Complete - protection for smartphone - Includes insurance" for one of the 5 phone (randomly). I'm cancelling the Sprint complete but wondering if the $2.50 should per line or total ($12.50 for 5 lines)?

Yes those are all true but you still want the device off your account right away to free up your SSN to start the 45 day clock counting before you can be eligible for new customer offers including this plan again and other new customer offers (such as SWAC which is an incredible rich high end plan for $30 a month with an easy-to-get employee referal from reddit threads or SD!).

Now, you may be able to say the stranded Magic Box alone should not stop that clock from starting but I did not want any ids, ands or buts about it.
Thanks. Will hold off on leaving until the box has been returned. Just means I'll have to pay for one month of $60 unlimited since Monday is my last free day. I should've returned it weeks ago but thought the local store would take them. Now I have to wait 5 days for the return kit.

Exact same problem here! I tried on safari - mac/mobile, Windows -Chrome, nothing works! Suspect it is a T-mobile technical problem if others having same issue. Ugghh........I wanted to get my current Sprint numbers ported to T-mobile today! .......Ugghh broken website and 7 hour telephone call back times.......I tried another T-mobile cust service line and hung-up after waiting an hour.
