Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I would like to switch from Verizon and add a line for my Mom. How do I add a line? Do I add it before I switch with Verizon or after with Sprint? Thanks
Read the notes in the wiki. It explains it all. Most accounts are approved for 5 lines but each line must meet port in requirements.

Interesting. Saves you the hassle of porting out and back in with new SSN. But what about lease requirements?

The most horrible cell company. Good luck using your internet while on a call with the iPhone, and good luck finding someone who speaks English on customer service or really getting the deal they offer. I had to call every month and fight weird charges. This company is a mess

it does.
but now u locked in a " device contract" for 18 months
(i think the op said 16 which is almost certainly a typo)

the 1 Y F extend for 1 year

after the 1 year, u will be in:
"device contract" for $40 + a service payment for $60.
total $100 for 6 more months

while the note 9 is a nice phone.

id much rather get free service and the next "$120 for a 1 year old flagship device deal"

v

(40x12) + (100x6)=$1080

just my 2c

asked often enough.9 months (as answered below)
updated wiki to this:

Note 7: Each and every number (first , 2nd or last) on this promo has to be ported in from a non sprint (or sprint mvno) carrier. Any additional line added will have the same terms (end date) as the original 1st line.
(example: u created account in july 2018. 1 Y Free promo expires in july 2019. if u add a line in dec 2018, that line too expires in July 2019)

They deff said 16 month lease, my plan is to pay the flex lease for 12 months then pay off the remaining 4 months about 160 and cancel the plan the flex lease will be paid off and the free promo plan has no contract, should be about $800 for year of unlimited and a paid off note 9

i dont think u have a complete grasp on how the lease works.
$1000/24 = 41.67 (lets round up to 42)

in 1 year u will pay 500 (12 months x 42)
if want to pay off lease at end of 12 months.
then u pay an additional :
1. pay 250 and give back the device (6 months x 42)
2. pay 500 and keep device (12 months x 42)

see below attachments as well as the link below.

please take this advice:
make sure u know exactly what u r getting into

see link [9to5mac.com]

edit':
anyways, good luck. do report back one way or another

edit 2:
best case senerio.
enjoy 1 Y Free. then at 12 months pay $500 to keep device.
total OOP cost is $1000 for a paid off Note 9 with 1 Y free service

Your math is based off of made up numbers though the lease is 18 months, $41 times 18 is $731, after 12 months 239 balance will be left which ill pay in full and keep the phone. I could be wrong tho my math is shit

my math shows $791 total spent including the fees and taxes from phone and plan for one year of service and a paid off note 9
