Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

If I port over my ATT Samsung S8+ can I then insert the sim into my Huawei phone which I prefer over the Samsung?
No. Sprint sim cards are phone specific. However, if your Huawei phone is Sprint compatible and you had the right sim for it, you could easily swap the device onto an existing Sprint account.

If you haven't ported yet, first make sure the Huawei is compatible with Sprint and get the proper sim card for it. Then, you can port your number to Sprint and place the Huawei directly on the account at the start.

Can anyone confirm it is possible to get a second year free without waiting the full 45 days to be considered a new customer again?

Would this work for older devices like iPhone 4 and Galaxy S3?
Only for Sprint models and even then usually not without calling in or swapping on at the very least.

I'm currently a byod customer at Sprint.. all I can say is.. Sprint sucks! I can have full bars of lte service and still barely have working data. Good luck getting a pixel 2 xl working! After 1 week I finally found someone who could get my pixel 2 xl working.

Anyone ported from xfinity mobile .. (xfinity mobile doesn't have PIN number associated to account) ....the Sprint rep said today that without pin, they can't port my number from xfinity (we tried 0000 as well as suggested by XM)

Sprint sales rep or porting dept rep?

If sales rep, ignore anything they say and call the porting dept number in the wiki. This means calling earlier while they are still there.

If porting dept rep, ask them to conference call with xfinity to resolve.

If you call late at night, nothing can be done as they are not really doing manually handled ports live then (only automated ones).

But Xfinity often gives out incorrect account numbers etc. Remember it is Xfinity that is rejecting the port out because they are checking the info that went from them to you to Sprint back to Xfinity for verification that it is correct.

Problem is when I enter imei from Huawei phone it seems it's not an eligible phone. In list of eligible phones Huawei not on list. It's unlocked though that's why I was wondering if I could switch for year plan with my Samsung and then just swap my sim (same size sim) into the Huawei?

No,

(1) Samsung S8 and iPhone XS and a few others support all 4 carriers with one model but most phones do not.
(2) "Unlocking" most HUAWEI phones just means allowing AT&T or TModels to work on other GSM carriers, not on CDMA carriers like Sprint, with which they are TOTALLY incompatible (other than a tiny number of Huawei's which do support Sprint).
(3) The size of the sim is the least of your sim issues. Sprint has about 20 sims. each for specific models, and you cannot interchange them just because they may happen be of the same size.

Sprint uses a whitelist system, which means even if your phone is fully compatible with the Sprint bands, it won't allow you to add into their network. It happens to a lot of the non-US phones, unless you can use your charm to persuade the tech support add your phone. laugh out loud

If you are on mobile there is a blue give rep button right under the comments.
If you are on a desktop you can hover your mouse on people's names and a drop down menu will appear and give you choices on what to do.

I was the same when I was newer. And have been so happy with this website that I have saved a lot of money on my phone bills plus I have bought and sold a lot of phones through deals found here. Just make sure you stick with the fine prints and ask the posters for more information. You need some guts and knowledge to delve into the intricacies on some of these deals.
Thanks, it's working! Test-rep was just sent your way.
