Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

He already called CS and they reprovisioned his phone. Problem is solved.
a lot of these problems are just simple carrier re provisioning. but if you don't know how Srpint network works it will drive you crazy. if you know a simple device config or inputting re provisioning phone numbers will usually do the trick and the shitty speeds will become zasssy speeds..

Anyone ported from xfinity mobile .. (xfinity mobile doesn't have PIN number associated to account) ....the Sprint rep said today that without pin, they can't port my number from xfinity (we tried 0000 as well as suggested by XM)
i told the S rep XM does not have a pin and she just said "ah"...i dunno what she did after but she got it to go through.

Finished my 1 year BYOD promo and went to FreedomPop afterward last week. Then a Sprint rep called me and offered $150 credit promo on 2GB/$30/month plan to get me back (that's 5 months free). I like Sprint and I don't use data much so of course I accepted the offer, which also comes with free Hulu limited commercial.

The port out of FreedomPop was annoying because they don't provide your account number and pin online. You need to contact them indirectly through their message board and wait for a rep to email you back. They don't work on weekends. And because they're considered a landline provider, it took 2 days to port out from their side. I'm really glad to be back with Sprint! Just giving my 2 cents.

And what a monster of a Wiki! I guess it's better than reading 1800+ pages of posts...

Apparently you didnt have another SSN to sign up for another free year or didn't want to wait the 45 days to re-up with your own SSN as stated in the wiki.

Or did the Hulu do it for you?

Did they lock you in to a contract at $30/mo?

Coverage at home, or half time on my way to work is shit...But I do get around 45mbps download speed in town. Spotty coverage...
Draining my note 8 power much faster than before...However yesterday my phone notified me about wifi calling set up. So I did that, so now when I'm home I just turn on airplane mode and keep wifi and Bluetooth on , can still make calls and texts and seems like the battery is back to normal since it's not constantly searching for service.

You should be getting an update soon that allows calls over VOLTE. Also Sprint has been issuing carrier updates to never Samsung devices that adds in some of the T-mobile bands so you might get better coverage.

RE: $30/mo lock - Please let me know. I'd love to lock at this price.

@hodaddy - RE: 2nd SSN - What exact steps did you take to make sure it worked for you?

I want to do this now as I was with Sprint until July 31 and have moved to T-Mobile. My SSN was used before. We can use my partner's this time around. The T-Mo move from Sprint was horrible and horribly hard. It's been fine since but expensive - $50/mo/line roughly for their base Unlimited. I'd love to get back to Sprint for the BYOD 1-year free+tax deal.

If you left Sprint to T Mobile on July 31 and remained with T Mobile ever since, you can just use your own SSN again. Process is the same as last year when you signed up with Sprint's BYOD free plan. End date is 11/30/2019 if you signup today.

My current plan ends 01/31/19. Say I port out by mid January and come back after 45 days to sign up for the 1 year free plan again, would I get the new plan until 11/30/19 or will it be 1 year from the month I sign up again?
And can I use the same SIM card that I use now for my next 1 year of free service?

The deal may or may not be there in January. Sign now with a partner's SSN if you can. Or port out now and wait the 45 days as most likely the deal will be available til Nov. 30. Or roll the dice til January or February which if still available, will have at least 1 year. And yes you can use the same sim card. Review the wiki notes.

Means you need to chat with Google Fi to remove "mvno" status from the device so it can go on Sprint postpaid.

That is a (misleadingly worded) standard message that you get in that situation because Google Fi is considered a Sprint mvno.

Easy to get fixed as above.
