Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

is the pixel 3 able to be activated on sprint while also active on project fi? (note: i do not mean using both sims simultaneously, because i know only one carrier at a time can be used on the phone, but i mean, project fi on the eSIM, and Sprint on physical SIM, and obviously switching between them).

i am aware that there might be a conflict because sprint matches the imei/meid to the sim iccid. however, i'm just asking for confirmation.

EDIT: I just realized that because project fi uses Sprint's network, it disqualifies me for sprint's 1-year-free service...doh!
Nope, a Pixel 3 bought from Project FI CAN be used on Sprint's 1-Year-Free service IF it is removed/disconnected from Project FI.

Never will stay at Full Retail price. But day after you port out, Recovery will call with offers.

And SWAC will likely be available in some form or another. And for now, Kickstart is still available for $25/month.

No, if IMEI is currently registered/residing with Project FI, it wont be allowed onto Sprint.

No, you should buy the needed sim now locally from a corporate-owned Sprint store (it is also included in the 4-in-one sim pack) so you will be ready to phone in and sign up and activate immediately when the phone arrives.

Note do not ask the store for advice as to which sim to buy as they may not know, just get the one specified above which is correct as edog11 is meticulous.

Online activation is not recommended (see Wiki) as it costs more, adds delays, and has other issues.
I will go to the Sprint store tomorrow to buy the 4 in one sim pack. Then I should activate by phone? ACTIVATE OVER THE PHONE @ 866-782-8777 (this is best method, less screw ups reported)

That is indeed what the majority of the people here recommend (as you can see in the Wiki).
However.
1 Go to a Corporate-owned store if there is one nearby. Franchised stores are a poorer bet.
2 Mention the FREE plan when you call. Otherwise you might end up on some other plan.
3.If you call, they may try hard to sell phone insurance for $15 a month. It is often easiest to just take it. Then, later the same day, chat online to non sales support staff and cancel it.
4.Decline any tablet offer

Because you did not mention the high-speed offer so I could not tell if were aware of it or not in drawing your conclusions. So I asked. But my reply was mainly for the original poster. I copied you more as a courtesy since you replied first to the original poster. I try not to post about a topic without acknowledging prior helpful posters and trying to build on their useful information.
Ok, got it, sorry. I usually travel with backpack and with low cash spendings (that's actually easier in Europe with low-costers like RyanAir, Wizz and using eastern-european airlines or Norvegian for flight from US), so used Sprint only for short stopovers like 1-2 days and usually use some local SIM for longer stays for internet and cheap calls (I mean, yes, I can spend $50 for high speed pass, but last time I paid this amount for Ibiza flight from airport where I got from US for $400 RT). Peace

by the way, I'm missing in fine print, is plan supposed to stay the same for newer lines? I've added one line in summer, but it also says plan ends on 5/31/2019, as primary line. Thinking if I'd be able to "renew" my primary line in May by moving it to friend's acc that ends on 11/30/2019 (port-out and port-in back to acc of other person).

Yes all of that is right. You always get all the same features on newly added lines as on your first, including end date.

So if you can move your lines onto a friend's account in May, yes that will pick up his end date.

Then 45 days later you will be eligible to come back as a new customer on a new plan of your own if you want to, if the offer is still open. Your SSN has to be off Sprint for 45 days before you can come back as a new customer eligible again for new customer only offers.

After one week of fighting with Sprint support and one service ticket. WiFi calling is now enabled on my iPhone 6 that I ported over from ATT&T prepaid.

On their last ditch attempt blow me off they claimed that my phone because it was BYOD was not compatible with their WiFi calling. To that I respond please look up my IEMI in your database...its a sprint branded phone. Three days latter they contacted me and said that there was a problem in their system and it would be fixed today.

SO YES WiFi CALLING WORKS ON THIS FREE PLAN IF YOU PHONE IS COMPATIBLE.

The phone that I am using is a "BostMobile" branded iPhone from that deal one year ago. I got it unlocked and it was supposed to be premium service to also remove any billing obligation from Sprint/Boost but I don't know if that ever really happened because I was using it exclusively with ATT prepaid. Before the port to Sprint my screen cracked and The "Genius bar jacked up the phone" during the repair so they gave me a new one for the cost of the screen repair. So the IEMI number (while still unlocked and belonging to the sprint pools of phones) was a new one and defiantly did not have a billing obligation flag...I love it when a plan comes together.

I was able to use the international low speed and google voice for call and text in Europe.Even sometime FaceTime in voice mode only, when the signal was to weak/slow.
But any Maps or internet browsing is painfully slow.
