Always this. What's the point of free if it doesn't work? I'd rather pay Verizon a $100 a month than port my number and use my phone as a paperweight.
Agree but I'd rather get Sprint service for free than pay V 100

If u have a paper weight then you are doing something wrong

For example, see post right above this one

Don't do it. It will not stay. And it may compromise your free plan.

I bought LG phone from sprint along with free BYOD plan. I didn't like the phone and switched to IPhone 6 (unlocked one I had).

I am still within 14 days of phone purchase. Can I return LG phone in the sprint store without causing issue with BYOD plan? Per sprint policy, there might be restocking fee but that shouldn't apply if you are within 14 days, correct?

Also, I am not sure if I can (should) create RMA online before going to store.
You already knew you did not want it so you should not have opened it or activated it, as I advised.

Assuming you bought it from TeleSales, I would return it to TeleSales after getting an RMA. Involving a store is always a recipe for problems unless TeleSales authorizes doing so.

See https://community.sprint.com/t5/O...d-p/987593

"A restocking fee of $45 for applicable devices may apply.

If the product is returned in its original unopened packaging or has not been activated, no restocking fee will be applied."

So what I would suggest at this point is restore it to its original unopened condition right down to and including the shrink wrap (this can be done) and tell them it is in unopened condition. Make photos.

Or you can try returning it to corporate-owned store if you want but I just do not know how that will turn out.

Just checked the details:
Plans & Equipment
$15.00
Sprint Surcharges
$2.91
Government Taxes & Fees
$1.07

It's my first bill, so I guess the $15 is SIM card+shipping cost

*Edit:
Sprint Complete - protection for smartphone - Includes insurance
$15.00

How can I remove this?
This look is pretty accurate as I recall -

Shade00's link is great.

If you do not feel comfortable doing it that (excellent) way, just Chat and they will cancel and credit it no problem.

Both of my Boost Moto G6 Play and E5 Play are failing after a couple of months. No more Moto junk for me. I need a brand new phone.

What is the cheapest non-Moto new phone for Sprint? So far I'm seeing the LG Tribute Dynasty.

416Q is correct and is one of the most widely used sims. The letters ahead of 416Q can be SIMGLW or SIMOLW no matter.

It is included in the Sprint/Boost 3-in-ine (or newer 4-in-one) sim pack available at all Sprint corporate stores, Best Buy, Boost, etc.

There is no difference whether you buy it at Boost or anywhere else.

If you bought the correct sim part and it did not work, it is the phone that has a problem, not the sim.

Twigby also has 416Q for 2.99 delivered. Just look for a sim for Samsung S8 if the LG G6 is not listed as they both take the same sim.
Thank you for the heads up. Luckily I was in the Bay Area for other business today and when I stopped for lunch I found myself right next to a Sprint store on Steven's Creek Blvd.

They refused to do the swap for me (said I needed the protection plan) but did give the SIM card at no charge, which was indeed the # you mentioned above. Rather than argue I just went outside and did the swap thru the automated phone system and 15 minutes later it was working great.

The G6 is an awesome phone for the $150 I paid, far better than the S7 I'd been using so glad it's up and running!
