Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I just called Sprint for BYOD promotion but open a new line is not eligible as has to be transferred from another carrier. I read the WIKI and said about the T-Mobile from ebay. I found the link below for $3.
Can anyone confirm if the eBay Tmobile virtual ICCID will get me new number and PIN number I needed so i can call Sprint to activate BYOD promotion as soon as i get it from T-Mobile over the phone?

Called the toll-free number for activation. The first rep. insisted that I MUST have the insurance ($15/mon) to proceed. After going back and forth, she hang up on me.

I called back again, this time it went through smoothly.

re-read wiki notes again. You need an eligible phone (and correct sim card) AND a number to port over from a competitor . Keep reading wiki for google voice suggestion or a numberbarn number for porting or a tmo number for porting from ebay.

Sorry. to quick to respond but yes Rolanda is correct and you could also accomplish that online also.

I had no problems with a digital sim for T-Mobile. You need to call T-Mobile and tell them that you want to get a new number and setup an account on their Pay As You Go plan. Also that you have not received your device yet and will add the device and add credit to the account online when you do. They may or may not charge you the $3 fee to do this. This is what I did for two lines that I then ported to the free Sprint plan. Just be sure to get your T-Mobile account number and PIN before you end the call. Of course you'll need a Sprint compatible phone and sim when you want to port the T-Mobile number to Sprint.

Nope. I just explained to them that I wanted to setup the account and would take care of everything else online when I had the device in hand.

Interesting. I never saw those were available when I needed to port a new number in. Seems easier.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. Wanted to know if I can reuse the device on another free BYOD line, if it has been used before for another BYOD account? Thanks.

You'll still need to port a number from a non-Sprint carrier, but, yes. You can reuse both the Sprint compatible device and the Sprint sim.
