Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

That's exactly how it should work and no surprise. You'll get your phone set up just fine. The only change is the free shipping for SIM. Keeps getting better
They pressed me really hard today on the "Sprint Complete" equipment protection. Said I could not change my device in the first 120 days unless I had it, so if I broke my phone I would have to wait. Sounds like BS, I guess we will see in a few minutes when the number finishes porting

YES this is what I use, and that is what those generated messages:
With PLBL glag set: "Sorry, but our records show you still owe Sprint for this device.
After Ting changed today to SPCS flag: " Ineligible, this phone does not qualify for this offer".
PS.It is easy to to reach out to Ting even if you are no longer their customer.
OK I would just call and activate it then.

Often when you call in they will put it through when you get that message.

You can probably swap it on too but try just calling first.

I would start with the newer phone as they are easiest.

Do not sign up online or you will pay $30 per phone activation fee per line up front (and get it back eventually months later).

Don't pay any attention to anything they say. It is just a carefully planned sales pitch. They say that all the time.
Just cancel the insurance 2 hours later through chat.

Update on LG g2 and G5 checks. Those web-pages looked almost identical so I overlooked.

phone pass the check normally

OK that is why I gave you the other link.

That is what I expected.

So just call in and activate.

Make sure you have a valid non-Sprint phone number to port in.

I would start with the newer phone.

Older Sprint phones often give the problem you got on the free plan checker but they can override it when you call..

Or you can swap it on too.

They made me wait while they "requested permission to waive it". LOL. Permission granted. Super nice people and I totally understand they probably get leaned on hard to sell that stuff. I knew it was coming but she really snuck into her sales pitch.

FYI: I did this lady year. After 3 months they lied at the store and I was stuck after my phone breaking and me purchasing a device from with assurance that it wouldn't effect the free deal. Been getting a bill for 150 a month since. Smh

But, my girl is going to do it her name and try to stick it to them. Hehe

I just signup again Saturday after my 1st year completed in Aug.
The rep ask me to sign up "Sprint Complete" protection, I told her I am more than happy to signup, everything went smoothly and I register my account and take the protection plan off 2 hours after.

I learn that it is easier to sign up the protection since it take me like a few click to remove it.

You don't even need to chat, I just wait for the protection feature show up in my account and remove it from Sprint.com

How do I get Google Voice forwarding of my voicemail with Sprint? I've tried using *73 and *74 with my GVoice number but my voicemails still go to my Sprint voicemail box. It's a pain because then I have to stop forwarding and clear the vml box. Anybody experience this? It worked fine for me with Sprint when I was on BYOD earlier in 2018, but after coming back a couple of weeks ago, it's not worked.

The 5x used to be. It was the best priced model on Craigslist the day I went in... great phone. (This was about a year ago)

Run it in THIS checker:

https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...phone.html
This exact process voided my free year for 2 lines all while they promised it wouldn't. And then the bill hit. Exactly what I tried to and avoid and customer service said deal with it basically. Never go to stores in the mall is the lesson here.

Edit: I'm not sure where the original quote went. It was in reference to to upgrading after initial phone set up.

Also, I can't remember what it was but last time there was a trick to the checker. I remember now....Specifically, Verizon phones always worked. Sometimes, on other unlocked devices it didn't work. Like from some budget services.
