Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

WOW. Did not see that coming! Aside from postpaid net adds what do they gain from this? This will just add congestion to their faltering speeds in a lot of markets they're already lagging behind the Big 3. Seems a like they're trying to boost their numbers prepping for a takeover.
2nd year in a roll.

Wow Sprint is bad all over Grand Rapids, MI. Drove around this evening any it was just crap, data mostly was so slow it didnt work. Speedtest.net app was getting 1000+ms pings almost everywhere. Could not dial any calls most anywhere including standing outside a Sprint store. Went inside the Sprint store and played with their phones, they only worked on wifi, LTE was total dog crap. I asked them if that is expected and they said Sprint is making huge improvements to their network.....
Good thing I only spent $6 on this experiment.

So you can do the trade in lease and get $450 off the iphone max and still keep the $5 a month plan?
They say yes but not in my experience. Which is shitty since I upgraded and have to pay off before I cancel or pay outright at time of cancelation. If not they're going to lock the phone until payment. Sprint also had terrible service. I live in Chicago...

This exact process voided my free year for 2 lines all while they promised it wouldn't. And then the bill hit. Exactly what I tried to and avoid and customer service said deal with it basically. Never go to stores in the mall is the lesson here.

Edit: I'm not sure where the original quote went. It was in reference to to upgrading after initial phone set up.
We're not talking about anything like that at all.
But I agree never involve stores in this offer. You will indeed often get switched to a paid plan if you do so.

You don't even need to chat, I just wait for the protection feature show up in my account and remove it from Sprint.com
I know and I have done that.

Either way, or both, works.

Both is good to to sort have a "belt and suspenders" approach.

Some people are not comfortable doing it online or cannot find it so for them I like to give a way that is just chat based and gives a written transcript for reassurance.

telling me my nexus 5X and 6P aren't compatible, wtf?
You will have to get them released for use on Sprint postpaid.

They will likely have the mvno flag still set to PLBL instead of SPCS from any prior use on MVNO's including Google Fi.

Call Google Fi and ask them to do it.

How do I get Google Voice forwarding of my voicemail with Sprint? I've tried using *73 and *74 with my GVoice number but my voicemails still go to my Sprint voicemail box. It's a pain because then I have to stop forwarding and clear the vml box. Anybody experience this? It worked fine for me with Sprint when I was on BYOD earlier in 2018, but after coming back a couple of weeks ago, it's not worked.
*73 works for me to forward calls to GV, but only if I don't answer or am not in service. If I reject the call, it instead goes straight to my Sprint voicemail. I can't figure out how to stop that from happening, so my workaround is that if I don't want to take a call, I hit a volume key to stop the ringtone but I have to wait for the call to timeout in order to get sent to my GV voicemail.

I'm actually surprised at how ok/decent sprint is in Chicago. Was expecting it to be much worse than Tmobile but it's equal if not better at places. And at $5 a line, it's got me thinking.

The proper way to set up GV is to have your publicly-known number on GV and forward it to a private non-public number on Sprint.

If you are not doing it that way you are probably better not to use GV at all.

Sprint has dropped "GV Integration". It is no longer supported.

Go through the usual resets, profile updates etc,

The rep assumed the ICCID was the same as before. Unless you have changed the sim, that should be ok.

"Unlocked Boost phone" could mean several different things. Which do you mean? Do you mean you bought it from someone who claimed itt was unlocked or what exactly? What was the last carrier it was used on?

iPhone 6s, originally was from Verizon. Used for a while with T-Mobile as well.
Was prompted for and installed carrier updates shortly after inserting SIM.
Any suggestions on how to improve performance? Something I need to do or Sprint needs to do?

The Apple IOS update due out in a day or two may improve things as it is rumored to extend Sprint's unlimited free TMobile roaming to older iPhones.

It should work well in any case at major shopping centers at the very least. If not, the phone may be damaged.

Pretty sure the first note in the wiki says: Do not go to a store for help. Too bad you missed that.
