Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I notice something really odd this morning and was hoping someone might chime in that has more knowledge about Sprint. Since June when I signed up I've always had lousy reception in my large development and nearly no reception in my home. In the early mornings (around 6:30) I leave to go to work and I'm always stuck on 3g until I hit the entrance of my development where I hit solid LTE coverage. On my way home from work, same thing happens I drop down to 3g upon entering my development.

Anyways this morning I notice when I was outside my home I was on LTE with it fluctuating between 1,2,3 and 4 full bars. I've never had that happen before. Only on the weekends will I sometimes get 1 bar of LTE outside my home before going down to 3g. I'm on an iPhone SE with ios 12.1. Do you think my iPhone is utilizing it's T-Mobile LTE bands now on roaming?

I didn't check what my reception is inside my home yet as I'm always on wifi calling. I know the best reception I've receive inside my home at best is 3g, usually I'm on 1x extended.

Yes Sprint users across the country are now noticing improved LTE from the ability to roam on TMO bands 4 and sometimes 2 as needed.

Me too.

I now find myself roaming on band 4 in a gym where I never had coverage before.

It is free and unlimited and not counted against your roaming quota.

I have had it on my S8 for a few weeks.

In fact, you can now argue Sprint is better than TMO because you can access both networks on Sprint. That is the case here because TMO is terrible right where I live.

Is there an app for iPhone where I can check what bands i'm currently connected to? I updated to 12.1 on Monday and still noticed the same lousy service yesterday. Only this morning did I see a difference in service. I only heard the new iPhones (10s, Max and Xr) received the update to roam on t mobile since those phones can use esims now.

A lot has been rolling out over the past two days to make month end release goals. Probably the network was updated more than once. Or maybe your PRL needed updating.

I doubt it is related to eSim only, because Sprint does not yet support that. It is more related to VoLTE (but VoLTE is only for iPhone 8 and higher).

I will leave iPhone details to others because I do not have one but I think there is way to see bands.

BTW...I just found out they do not have 24/7 customer care that you can call..I have to open their mysprint app to chat. Wow..that's why their customer service is way behind other network.
Way behind what other networks ? Which ones have 24/7 customer service that you can call ?? Almost certain Verizon and TMobile dont.

Would an AT&T v35 work on this plan. The post mentions the V35 but doesn't specify. Obviously I'd have to activate a prepaid plan on t-mobile to port a number over as I don't want to lose my main number. I'd be using this as a secondary line

The model V350ULM is approved and would use 416Q sim.It can be used on Att and Sprint
V350AWM(Att) lacks CDMA bands and LTE bands 25,26(band 41 only listed under intl roaming) and not approved for sprint.
You should also verify Imei in Sprint checker.

There is no offer end date on the promotion page. It still says only: "Limited Time Offer" as it always has.

There is an end of savings date which is 11/30/19, as it has been saying for some time, but that is not what people are talking about. People are interested in knowing when signing up for the offer will be cut off.

The reps have been a source of endless misinformation, wrong guesses and misinterpretations on their part, from the start - don't waste your time.

Great information! Thank you. I am going to buy the Amazon edition and sell my AT&T branded V35 on swappa. This was a very hopeful post.

Looking for some help and this may not be the best place to ask this question. I am looking for a plan service that provides some hotspot that can be used when traveling in the car with the kids. I have AT&T through my company so we don't get their hotspot feature because we get a discount but I do not want to purchase separate data plans for both kids. Any other option other than Spring for about 10gb per month?

Thanks

This plan does not have Hotspot.

You could look at the AT&T connected car plan:

https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car.html
which is only $20 a month unlimited. but may be hard to get and requires purchase of their hotpsot.

There are likely other options too.

Not sure why people try to guess when it end, if you need it sign up ASAP

If you are is some obligation that prevent you to sign up today, wait then you will find out whether it has ended

if not move on really no point to determine when it is end

You would think that Sprint would try their best to give people at least a half-way decent experience with their LTE offerings and unlimited data, but no matter where I am in town now and running a speed test barely get over the 3mbps mark download speed and upload is hovering around 0.5mbps. Sprint's LTE service is more akin to the HSPA+ speed increases that were propagated around 5-10 years ago because these speeds can't possibly be considered LTE by any stretch of the imagination. Even though I'm only paying $3.50 per month I think it's about $3.49 too much for their service. I switched to this deal by ditching my free $25 Cricket Unlimited 2 plan for tethering, and honestly even Cricket's crappy throttled service delivers more consistent speeds than Sprint does anywhere in the Memphis area. Only once have a i seen anything faster than 3mbps and that was when I was standing within 300 feet of a local Sprint tower which is highly impractical. I'm about ready to sell my LG G5 Sprint phone and switch back to Cricket's Unlimited 2 offering so that my speeds are more reliable and have better cell service.
.
I am getting 54Mbps here so I don't feel the problem.

Frankly if you think it is crap there is nothing prevent you to sell your phone move back to cricket, what all the the bitching?

Even though the V350ulm is approved by Sprint some features like WiFi calling may not work since it is not a Sprint branded phone. This is the case with motorola non carrier branded phones. Not sure about V35 since I don't own one, but suspect this maybe the case.
