Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

There's virtually no service indoors, but we get by with WiFi and WiFi Calling.
Outdoors, the speeds are good enough for streaming music and GPS navigation, which meets our needs.

My biggest issue is that the Administrative and Regulatory Fees feel like too much, because they are charged per line. Which results in bills totaling $18.30 per month --> $220 per year.
But considering Verizon (only carrier with good service in our area) is 12x the price, the subpar service is worth it (for now).

I would suggest first try edog11's suggestions and post back results.

Also look at Dashboard/Manage Account/ See Details to see what plan is listed.

Let's see if it really is messed up or not.

Thanks, got it. Will call Sprint up tomorrow then. Any particular number for tech help?
Sprint emailed me earlier saying the port was complete. Frecarrierlookup says Sprint. I am using an iPhone 10.
Quote from edog11 :
You can try some of these but usually only help with LTE/data problems. I'll defer to comintel about best number to call.

#3 has helped with H2O customers and Att customers.
1-Reset Subscriber Settings (Carrier Reset)
Go to dial pad as though you're about to dial a phone number
Enter # # 25327 #
Tap Call
A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - tap OK
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen
When the phone shows a signal again, the phone is ready to use

2-Service Update (Profile & PRL Update)
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Tap the phone app
Dial # # 873283 #
Tap Call
"Starting Service Update" message will appear - tap OK
If update is successful "Service Update Complete" message will appear after about a minute - tap OK

3-Check for an old LTE APN profile and delete it.
The problem was due to a Profile named "LTE APN". (Settings>General>Profiles - Right below "VPN". There may not be "Profile" on the Menu, depending on the carrier used before.). Deleted this Profile, then LTE Data signal showed up! This Profile was probably from the previous carrier.

Thanks guys, tried edogg11's suggestions earlier and just now again with no success. Says service update failed. I've restarted my phone, reset network settings, and update carrier settings as well. I had no apn profile.
It looks like I have bars/lte consistently now, all day it wasn't showing up until earlier tonight. Phone still shows a message "iPhone is not activated"
According to that chat rep, my account hasn't been activated yet. He said to contact porting tomorrow even though got a successful port email from Sprint.
I've been trying to sign up with sprint, but when I enter my phone number on the registration page, it says "Device is not active or cancelled." They sent me an ebill confirmation email with the last 4 digits of my account number.
Should I stay away from their porting center? Or call any specific number?

Sure you can call the port dept tomorrow
866-437-1818
and access
https://shop2.sprint.com/en/wlnp/check.shtml

They are closed now.

Ok if you cannot reach them that way you can reach them through the same TeleSales number you called originally.

Thanks, will do. That's the page I've been trying to register my phone with to make a sprint account, but they say my device is not active.

OK if you cannot reach the port department at that number you can reach them via TeleSales at the same number as before.

FreedomPop ports often give problems.

I personally would not do a port leading into a weekend as voip carriers often do not do live ports on weekends and have minimal staff. FP uses many smaller carriers regionally and really the port has to be done by them.
Ok, will do. I ported over from Tmobile. Sprint supposedly has the number now and emailed me saying the transfer was complete and successful.

I apologize if this has been clearly stated but just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I signed up for this deal a year ago so it'll be expiring this month. If I port it out to a T-Mobile prepaid account, wait 45 days (in the meantime just using T-Mobile) assuming the deal is still around by then, can I sign up again and port back in using the same ssn/phone number that's currently on the plan? Same sprint iPhone 6s that qualified the first time around.

Am I missing anything? I don't want to change phone numbers or use someone else's ssn.

You're right - same phone, same SSN (after 45 days), same sim, same number is fine.

However check your Account for your own exact expiry date: DeskTop - Manage Account/ See Details and you may find you got 13 or 14 months rather than 12 as they align to a fixed date further out for stretches of time rather than constantly recalculating 12 months day by day, to simplify their systems.

Nationwide! Even a broken analog clock is right twice a day. Sprint also says they have shitty coverage https://gizmodo.com/1829401148
It seems you are just confirming my point. Two more things:
That map was released to bolster Sprint's argument for the merger.
Also it's LTE map, not coverage map. So many people get passable service in those spotty areas.
Carry on

Plus revenge-seekers and underdog-kickers.
Nobody claimed Sprint was number one.
They are a disastrous choice in some areas and an excellent one in many others for the cost-conscious or those who want to make their own trade-offs.
Well said as usual.
Also, for my latest converted Sprintster family, they could not connect via ATT in their home. T-Mobile is barely usable there.
Sprint works best for them, irrespective of pricing. They were shocked
