Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I recommend this as the cheapest new phone you can get for this Sprint plan. I got it last month and have no problems with it.

Sprint LG Tribute Dynasty $130.99
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-t...Id=6162284

A few months ago I got Boost Moto G6 Play and E5 Play and they have already broken down. I am never buying Moto ever again.
If it is going on ok, great, but this appears to be a Boost model, so theoretically not eligible for Sprint Postpaid.

The Best Buy link I provided is for the Sprint Postpaid version, including flex lease, monthly installment, or one payment options.

However, it is only $96 direct from Sprint

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/ce...an=1100264

so maybe they are not drawing a distinction.

Never mind you beat my reply. There are 3 models Boost, Sprint post paid, Virgin Mobile.

Excellent!

It does says "LG Tribute Dynasty for Boost Mobile" lower on that page in one place, which is what I noticed.

Maybe they have both.

As per my other post, Sprint appears to be selling it drectly for $96 as well

https://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/...inked=true

It looks like a great choice.

I see it has Calling Plus, which means that it in all likelihood will get VoLTE.

Very good! That explains it!

Since Sprint is selling it directly for $96, I think that TeleSales would sell it as well along with the free plan, which might be an easy way in for those looking for that.

Of course, people should avoid buying it in Sprint stores, because most/many Sprint stores will refuse to sell it without a paid plan, or will use subterfuge to convince people the store can set up the free plan, but will end up substituting a paid plan.

I am porting over from AT&T and I ordered the SIM online. Which one of these options should I follow because the Wiki is not very clear.

1. go on https://sprint.com/activatenow to activate the SIM card THEN call 866-437-1818 to port?

or

2. Call 866-437-1818 to port over from AT&T with the SIM unactivated because the SIM will get activated during the porting process?

or

3. Only use sprint.com/activatenow and that will take care of the porting process and I don't have to call the porting department number?
If all you did so far was purchase a Sprint sim, Note 1 in the wiki says to call 866-782-8777 when you receive it. Sprint will port your number from AT&T and activate your sim. I did it this way and had no problems. Just make sure you have all of your AT&T account information and password in hand along with the Sprint sim and phone.

Absolutely.

A lot of us cancelled after the first year and, after 45 days or with a different SSN, started into a second.

Thanks. I just noticed that I will have to pay taxes and fees which I understand. Any idea how much would that be for 1 line? This is for my car phone/tablet and I currently pay $20+$5 tax for it on my T-Mobile account. Only use it for data (not much, navigation and online radios)

Never mind, so the huge wiki. Should be under $5 for me.

$4 total all-in average depending on where you live - see wiki for survey by zip code.

Anyone knows if it will accept ATT prepaid phone # for porting?

Or if the first line is successfully ported from a postpaid account, can the second one be ported over from ATT prepaid?
