Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yikes, were they questions about your past, like places you lived or maybe loans or mortgages you may have had? I've heard if any of the answers are mistaken it can trigger the identity part of the verification to fail. Did they ask you to visit a store to complete the application?
You are right looks like it might have been the identity verification that would have caused the issue. There were questions about knowing certain people I had never met or atleast didn't remember.

I have been reading about it and looks like others with good credit also faced similar issues due to the 3rd party sprint uses to collect the public information. So I added a hard inquiry to my record without any profit Frown

You can try calling the credit dept direct at 800 639 6116 and they are often able to help more than the reps you spoke to originally.

I'm not that well versed in the technical aspects but with years of reading about the differences between the iPhone carrier models. I have heard that bands are just one aspect of the 6S differences.
In old ringplus (< sorry to bring that nightmare up) SD threads, there was countless discussions of dropped call problems on gsm 6S phones vs the cdma phone's which had less issues with sprint. I never experienced the differences it myself because I only had a Verizon 6S. If I remember correctly data wasn't the issue but dropped calls and call issues due to something about sprint's voice technology rely on 3g for voice. Also I think something about the slight 6S modem differences? Confused
But whiteout's articles do match up with the issues that I've read about user experiences with 6s phones on Sprint. Just for a smoother everyday experience, I would recommend the Sprint, Verizon or sim free 6S models for use on Sprint.
Oh well just wanted to let poster know that both models iphone 6s work good(use cdma+lte) and are approved on Sprint. Also most likely if he purhased iphone X at T-Mobile it is A1901 which has no CDMA so will be rejected by Sprint.

Go check the Essential phone deal thread....and you will see that sprint do lock phones.
If you read the thread you should understand all the essential phone sold that got relocked is
1. Sold by Sprint and unlocked by Sprint
2, It is clearly a Manufacturer/Sprint problem with their database

Never heard a case that phone get relocked if a unlocked phone is purchase as a non Sprint band, unless you can provide DP

Called the toll-free number for activation. The first rep. insisted that I MUST have the insurance ($15/mon) to proceed. After going back and forth, she hang up on me.

I called back again, this time it went through smoothly.
Just get the insurance and you can remove it from online account in like 30 secs, never understand why people keep arguing.

Just signed up for a 2nd year on this plan. You can't beat free ($3/mo is free in all practical sense).

I did have quite a bit of trouble signing up for the 2nd year though. I wanted to share my experience with everyone in case they got stuck.

I have an unlocked iPhone SE 64GB I purchased from Apple several years ago. After my first year ended, I went to total wireless for 2 months. Came back to Sprint but they kept telling me, based on my IMEI, that my phone was incompatible with their network. Which of course was complete BS because I was with them for a year prior. After having to talk to multiple different CS reps, a rep finally told me that they had to 're-SKU' my phone and they had to submit some sort of 'ticket' to their technical department and that it would take 24-48 hours to resolve. (On a side note, when I would enter in my IMEI on the sprint website to check my phone, it gave me a message saying something to the effect of "you still owe Sprint on your phone and therefore can't join" or something to that effect)

After 48 hours, I called them again, and it worked without any hiccup. I told the CS rep i was in a rush and did not have time and it literally took no more than 10 minutes. I double checked on the sprint website and now when i searched my IMEI and phone number it gave me a green checkmark saying it was compatible.

Just curious, anyone else experience something similar to me?

P.S. As others have said, you have to reject their $15/mo insurance plan. And some of them are very aggressive and won't accept your answer until you repeat yourself multiple times. Tell them over and over and over that you're not interested and 'please don't add this on my account.'

Just call the number in the wiki. Latest reports are saying they will order the sim for only 2.99 and you can call back when you receive it and they can activate the phone at that time. Please read the wiki and pay special attention to note #1. If they insist on adding phone insurance, it can easily be removed in your account or through chat. Another bonus of calling in is that they waive the activation fee and the rep should mention that. If not, be sure to ask. Also, be sure to reply here if you run into any snags. Always include the phone and model number in your reply's

Great to hear!
I have corrected the number in the post. Normally I paste it in but was out at the time I replied and typed in by hand erroneously on my phone.
