Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You have to get Fi support to release the phone and flip the Sprint mvno flag to SPCS. From Sprint's point of view, Fi is a Sprint MVNO.

Port your number to somewhere else temporarily - see the Wiki.

I was with Sprint 4 years ago before switching to T-mobile. Sprint's service was horrific. Forget about data, I couldn't even make phone calls from my home. They even sent me an individual tower for my home and it barely improved the signal.

They keep saying how their signal has improved, but i doubt it very much. The deal itself sounds amazing if their service has improved at all. I only have T-mobile phones now. Do they expect me to buy new phones that they support just to test it out to see if their service has improved? Then what happens if I try it out and there is no improvement? Not sure what my options are just to test it out to see if i can even make phone calls from my home now. Anyone know?

Well not just for this offer but in general for future flexibility I would suggest buying phones such as Samsung S8/S9 or iPhone XR/XS (or the unbranded universal variants of earlier models) that fully support all carriers That way you can move around between carriers and test things even in parallel on two carriers.

Sprint is in the early stages of introducing VoLTE which well be the new standard for voice. Current CDMA Voice will be phased out.

A number of years ago Sprint did introduce 800 MHz CDMA voice which has vastly expanded its reach but that probably would have already been in place 4 years ago when you still had problems.

So voice is still in a stage of transition for now and is not perfect in weak signal areas. I would not count on it being perfect everywhere yet.

If you think it will not be good enough in your area, I am not sure that now would be the best time to test it out, because voice is in the middle of a major transition right now, unless you come across an easy way to test it.

There are good TMO-based offers too. Have you looked at Teltik? Theoretically it is business only but they will take any shred of evidence of a business.

I have a phone that is now on the expired list. If I borrow a friend's new phone and put the sim card into it, can I get the free year and then immediately switch it back to the old "expired list" phone? Asking for a friend.

Chat with FI and ask them to de-register your phone. Then try again at Sprint website.

My question is the following: if I put my sim card in one of the unexpired devices to activate and then switch the sim card back to the expired device, would I still get a free year?

Thanks for all the info I was able to get the deal on a IPhone 6, however I think the cellular antenna is on the fritz because it will work sometimes and then say searching. I took it to the store and they said it's a board replacement. Can anyone with experience talk to signing up for the sprint care service and calling them in about 2 weeks.

Would anyone know how long you have to be a member before you can call?
