Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

We're finishing up our first year on Sprint, and I thought I'd pass on our experience. We live in Salt Lake City, and many people reported that the reception is great. But compared to T-mobile,it was very unreliable. Here's my complaints of things that we didn't experience, while on T-Mobile:

1. Many deadspots
2. 4G LTE is much slower
3. Can't use internet, while you're on the phone
4. Texts are often broke up into a bunch of short scrambled up texts

Overall, while it's awesome to have 5 lines for $25, I'm worn out of the lack of reliability and will be switching back to the T-Mobile network.

We advise in the Wiki against activating online. If you activate online, you are charged a $30 activation fee which will be credited back in 2 billing cycles and can be used up over time. This is stated on the Sprint page.

What was the $21 fee for? Look in the detailed itemization. There are a couple of large cites that charge large per line phone taxes. That is one partial possibility among others. But look and see. Also check the Wiki for typical fees for your zip code. There is a survey there by zip code.

Also check on DashBoard/Manage Plan/See Details or in the App that you are on the Free plan.

Is this for one line?

Does Verizon offer pay as you go? My brother is wanting to port from sprint to Verizon then back to sprint to take advantage of the BYOD promo. Does anyone have experience having done this or would it be easier to port out to Tmobile? He's wanting Verizon because the rest of my family (4of us) bough Verizon t phones at Walmart today. We're switching from sprint to Verizon. I'll pay off the phones then port back to sprint. So he thought it'd be best to switch to Verizon temporarily too, vs somewhere else

Just chatted with Sprint online. According to the rep I will be charged over $12 a month in taxes where I live (Philadelphia, PA). Does this makes sense? I never had postpaid service but with prepaid I pay much less in taxes.

For how many lines?
How much is the city and state telephone tax per line?
Please break it down in detail.

Total taxes and fees nationwide average is about $4 per line (see wiki for survey)

Thanks. I asked about 1 line and unfortunately did not ask for a breakdown of the taxes (the rep just gave the total). The wiki shows a zip code in my city (19104) with $4.38 in taxes so not sure why I was told it is over $12. I already purchased the $20 Mint Mobile deal, will try again in 3 months.

It happened to me when first bill is generated, auto pay was not setup and so it didn't consider that discount. Like another person replied you, get a detailed breakup of charges for more clarity.

I signed up to sprint BYOD on August, . How the Walmart deal will work on my free plan?

I'm thinking on Pay off the phone and have the $400 gift card from Walmart.

But the "activation"? Will it work? Without ending my BYOD plan? Thank you.
Walmart associate told, I need to keep the phone line active at least one billing cycle before paying it off. Also activation fee of about $30 will be charged during this time.
So after a month you should be able to use it on Sprint BYOD.

Yeah it will be about $4 total all-in taxes and fees. Goodness knows what the rep was talking about.
