Hi All.
My numbers are currently with Sprint. Can I port my numbers out to MetroPCS or other prepaid providers for a few months then port back into this free Sprint plans? If yes, how long before I can port back in? I will be using a different SSN. Thanks.

Does iphone 6S and Moto G5 Plus use same sim cards. They are matching in BYOD sim guide.

Thanks for the information. So,we should not go to store to swap the phones. We have to do it by chatting right? I have unlocked Moto g5 plus phone. Based on BYOD sim guide, for 6s and g5 plus it shows same BYOD SIM Kit number. Does it mean, i can reuse the same sim with 6S by chatting with rep.
You are correct.

Well you have to
(1) Get it off Fi first because Fi is a Sprint mvno.
(2) Get Fi Support to flip the Sprint database MVNO ownership flag from Fi to Postpaid ( PLBL to SPCS. )

Then it will qualify.

TMobile digital sim on eBay is cheaper and faster since it will be different SSN. Check wiki for digital sim details.

Good tip!

BTW what phone are you using? Do you have roaming enabled?
iPhone 8 Plus. I tried turning on roaming and it didn't make a difference. My signal all day has been going from Sprint with one bar, to Extended Network to No Services.

Turned on WiFi calling which seems to be pretty good at home. Haven't left the house yet because I'm a bum.

All G5 plus(506C,416C,446C) cards work with IPhone 6s(506C,416C,446C,436C,426C(eol)) but not other way around. As 436C,426C(eol) don't work on G5 plus. In your case since you have G5 plus card it will work with iPhone 6S.

It should be fixed in a week or two when IOS 12.1.1 is released.

Then it should go to TMO Extended roaming (free unlimited no quota) right away when needed.

For iPhones, this will probably only be for iPhone 8 and above which fortunately you have.

Right.

In other words, no extra delay at all is required since it will be a different SSN. The next day will be fine.

How do you do that? Just call them and tell them I don't want Sprint?

You cannot have this plan and Fi. I guess that is what you wanted to do originally but I am sorry I was not sure whether you meant that literally or not.

It is one or the other - Fi or this plan.

So if you want to use this plan rather than Fi you have to
(1) port your number elsewhere temporary which will kick the phone off Fi
(2) Check the imei in the Sprint checker
(3) If the imei is still "you owe sprint" or other error, chat or call Fi and tell them exactly what I said to tell them in my post.

Try help assistant in app
Pay off the phone in app, press that help (? - in app) and type 'Pay off device'.

In corporate store cash only.
