I doubt you can get a byod line before you port but you might be able to get credit approval in advance so you don't have to worry about that aspect.
Getting ID'd/credit approval is the best thing I can go for. I just don't know if by the second time I call, they'll consider me a Sprint customer (which seems absurd given I wouldn't have an a account w/ them), but oh well, I don't know all their policies.

Just joined this game on Nov 5, but there's FED flags issues on all the BYOD Phones. Why would sprint put the FED flag on a phone that was customer owned and brought to sprint?
Wonder if it has to do because they were supposed to be unlocked devices...not sprint devices
When i tried to trade in my g6 activated, bby made me deactivate it before they would take it...is that what you are seeing?

All G5 plus(506C,416C,446C) cards work with IPhone 6s(506C,416C,446C,436C,426C(eol)) but not other way around. As 436C,426C(eol) don't work on G5 plus. In your case since you have G5 plus card it will work with iPhone 6S.
Thanks for the information. I am able to switch to 6S.

Has anyone been able to get the $100 per line bonus from the sprint credit union promo on the BYOD promotion? And does the account owner have to be the credit union owner or is it okay if just one of the phone line holder on the account have the credit union membership? https://www.lovemycreditunion.org/sprintrewards

I tried this with a iPhone 7, and a Google pixel. The Google pixels service does not work at all. Cs said that there is a tower down nearby 😑. Went back to Verizon after getting the run around.

Do you mean Sprint put FED flags on your phones after you activated them on Sprint? What phones are they?

They do not.normally.

Are you trying to activate on Sprint?

What specific issues are you having and when do you get them? What error messages do you get exactly.?

If you are getting the "you owe Sprint" error, that indicates the mvno/ownership flag needs to be flipped from PLBL to SPCS. (Search for posts by LiterallyUnlimited in this thread for details and the fix).

The wiki community board says Now until 1/31/20. But under deal editor's notes & price research it shows Savings until 10/31/18 -> now 11/30/19. not sure why there are 2 until dates. which one is correct?

Because the editor's notes were made before the latest extension of the offer.

This offer is 16 months old and there are various old dates left around all over the place.

1/31/20 is correct now.

It is routinely denied and is excluded by name on the Sprint page for this plan.

One or two people succeeded. A gazillion others were turned down.
