Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi,
We have got 4 new lines activated from Verizon (ported out from Sprint) to make use of getting a new iPhones with Walmart gift cards for Thanks Giving.
When I try to pay off the full price of the phones on Verizon so we can get the BYOD 1-year offer, Verizon is not allowing to pay off until 12/10.
Any idea if this promotion be still valid post 12/10 so we can port out of Verizon and get the 1 year offer.
I see "Savings until 1/31/20" on Sprint offer page but does not specify if they are going to accept the new port in until 1/30/2019.
Any help/suggestion are much appreciated.
Thanks.
Probably but actually you can pay it off right away according to posters here. Pay off inside the app, I think they say. Search back for Verizon in this thread or wait for one to cay it again.

Does the iPhone XR purchased from xfinity mobile work with Sprint ? I did not see it listed in the eligible phones list.

It is listed as eligible see https://community.sprint.com/t5/P...-p/1020211

which is the only up to date list.

Tried that Comintel. Got the message as "you can't pay off this device just yet" unavailable until 12/10/2018.

Will wait for others who may have done successfully.

Thanks.

Last time I tried to sign up for 1YF Sprint was not able to verify my ID through questions. So a family member established an acct for me to use. The rep never brought up the option of having me go to the Corp store. The wiki references three posts which didn't mention how they went about doing this. Once the ID verification questions fail, you can't attempt to sign up for at least 60 days. I'm certain I will face this same ID problem again when porting in, but I'd like the option of going to the store for verification. Also, I'm going to buy the physical tmo sim and activate pay as go just so I can actually have service while I resolve the issue with Sprint.
It is not always the case that you have to wait 60 days if the only problem was the ID questions, although some reps and the latter may say that.

Call the Credit Dept direct at 800-639-6116 when this happens and often they will sort it out right away.

This has worked for some people, and not for others. I suppose it depends on the circumstances and maybe other factors. I suppose odds may decrease if it happened before but I am not sure of that.

Maybe you could just go the Corp store to start with before doing anything. It might be worth trying.

Try to add a card in payment methods, then in the app home click on the help icon at the top right, type "pay off device" and follow the chatbot prompts. See if this works.

Just a warning. I got in on the "free" service in May of this last year..... holy shit is the cell service bad.

I am switching this Friday. Free is not worth the terrible reception and terrible data transfer.
Good and bad service depends on a lot of factors. Mainly location and phone compatibility. In our case, we switched from Metro (which had good service, just not free) and found that Sprint works very well in our area and pretty much everywhere we need it to. There are some slow and dead data spots here and there, but no more or less than when we had Metro. As far as phone compatibility, there are some non-Sprint phones that will work on Sprint, but don't have all the bands required for the best reception. My spouse has an iPhone 6 from Verizon. It works fine as our area is strong with Sprint, but we know that it does lack band 41 which sometimes can create reception issues in some buildings. Bottom line, you'll really only know what kind of service you'll get by trying it. The nice thing with this deal is, if you find the coverage or service is lacking where you need it, you're free to move to a different carrier with no penalty for doing so.

If you activated online,
From OP:
"Your $30 activation fee is waived as part of this promotion. The fee will appear on your first bill and a credit will appear within 2 bills."

If you activated by phone, your $30 activation fee may have been waived.
