Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is LG g6 a qualified phone? LG g5?
I have not really researched it but Sprint LG G6 has Calling Plus and ISIM which probably (not guaranteed) means it will have everything including VoLTE and highest level of roaming priority.

Sprint LG G5 may not get VoLTE but should still be able to roam on TMobile I am sure. I am sure it would have the bands. As to whether or not it will get to avoid 3G to the same extent and on the same time schedule as phones eligible for VoLTE, it is not clear. It may and the variations being seen may just be a matter of timing / upgrade schedules etc.

Deal not legit. The online form makes u call them And when u call them they tell u its not free its $60/month
You get that if you call a general call center rather than the one specializing in this offer. The offer is not open to callers to general Sprint numbers or they would end up having to give it to everybody. You are quite right that if you call other Sales numbers (including ones referred to in emails you may get or see online), they will absolutely try to sell you paid plans.

Best follow the path outlined in the Wiki and you will not have this problem. That involves calling the number ending in 8777 rather than activating online..

So I tried to port my number in from Tmobile using the Moto G6 I got from the Fi deal. Sprint said the phone is not eligible as it's already active on a Sprint network. I just cancelled the Fi service and never ported my number over. What gives?
As others have posted, just call or chat Fi support and they will sort this out. Fi is considered a Sprint MVNO and you have to have flags reset to use Postpaid Sprint rather than Fi Sprint.

I am just repeating what many people have tried and got to work.

As to how to contact them, looking at their web site, I see:
"You can contact Project Fi Support by using the Contact us link in the top right corner of the page here or you can call them at 1-844-TALK2Fi."

Ah yes, gamblers' paradise. We're just rolling the dice.*rolls imaginary dice*.

Yep. We've discussed ID verification questions before and Lexis Nexis as well. We've also discussed how troublesome it is to get those questions corrected in cred history.

I'd rather get another family member to open a Sprint account for me to use rather than contacting Marci, I just find it a bit troublesome. I would though as a last resort.

I've bought the tmo sim from the store and activated it. I'm just waiting for Sprint to unlock a device I was given so that I can port out. After that, I guess I can do a chat and ask Sprint if I can get ID verified in store and then call the 8777 #.
That sounds like a good approach although I think personally I would just walk into a corporate store and try. Reliability of answers from Sprint chat is hit and miss at best, especially on credit issues.

LiterallyUnlimited is sending out the following response now to requests to flip the MVNO/Ownership flag from PLBL to SPCS to allow activation on Sprint of a phone that had been used on an MVNO. (It was forwarded to me by someone).

Quote :
I wish I could help you, but the number of unsolicited requests I've received like yours lately has started affecting my actual job, so I've had to stop fulfilling them. I didn't want to, but I need to actually do my actual job, instead of coming in to 30 requests like yours daily.
........
To add my own comment: Unfortunately, despite what they *should* be willing to do, most other MVNO's including Tello are NOT willing to flip the flag, no matter how hard you press them. (Exceptions being Google Fi, Ting as noted, and FreedomPop if you can reach them). And most people have had problems calling Sprint's general numbers.

Instead, I would suggest contacting Sprint Social Media Advocacy & Resolution Team (see https://community.sprint.com/t5/C...-p/1006737).

Any number can to be ported in from a non sprint carrier. Sprint will not give you a new number to start off this offer.

If want a GREAT #, You can easily choose a number (and often a full 7-digits that spells your name or business, ie 999-briandb) at www.NumberBarn.com. Many are $5 to buy, then $2/mo to park. Then, they have an easy way to port out (to H20 for instance). Then you'd be ready to port from H20 to Sprint.

They also forward the number for $6/mo, if you don't want to go through porting.
