Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How did you get the phone locked to Sprint with this plan ?

I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and I tried checking the IMEI in sprint as well as Tello, Both say they are not compatible. Does that mean I have to get a new phone to use Sprint?

On the same thought, which phones (preferably android) would work on most networks if I plan to switch back to Tmobile after an year with Sprint.?

thanks..
Yes it does in that case because S7 or S7 Edge is not compatible across brands.

Other similar Samsungs that would work and also be compatible with TMobile (or any carrier) are:

- S8 or Note 8 any branded version (because these have BYOD brand-switching support giving 100% feature support on any carrier)
- S9 any branded version (because these have BYOD brand-switching support giving 100% feature support on any carrier)
- S7 Factory Unlocked model or S7 Edge Factory unlocked model (but these would not be 100% Sprint or TMO special feature compatible)

For S8, N8, or S9, these can be just unlocked by the carrier and do not have to be the factory unlocked model. So these are preferable in my opinion to the the Factory unlocked models.

Obviously there are many other choices - others suggest in other posts.

You might as well if it is paid off anyway. Sprint will unlock it on request if it has if it has been on Sprint for 50 days or more and is paid off.

You would not actually have to if you do not want to use it on TMO but you might as well if it is paid off..

You can do an IMEI swap, also called a device swap, at any time without limitation, starting from your dashboard (or by chat)..

Only to one that is Sprint compatible.
Sprint does not allow generic GSM phones on (or generic CDMA ones on either), even via swap. They will block it if you try.
But I have even got Sprint-branded flip phones on (Dura XT)

Read the Wiki for how to use TMO Prepaid for that.
But even after you get it off Tello, it will still have the Sprint MVNO flag left on, which will be a problem activating on Sprint often/usually.

If you get errors activating it ("You owe Sprint" error) first ask TeleSales to work on it and if that fails try
https://community.sprint.com/t5/C...-p/1006737
to get the flag flipped.

I bought Pixel 3 on a new line from Verizon and ported out to H2O. Tried Sprint eligibility checker now and it says I'm eligible now. So just ordered their activation kit. While checking for eligibility I provided H20 number. While activating/porting too should I use the same H2O number? If possible I'd really like to use my Lyca number for port (I don't want to update new number all friends, relatives and services etc. ) Any idea if this is possible?

I took this offer from Sprint yesterday. Moving from cricket.asked the customer service representative to ship the SIM card in standard to avoid $10. She took a while to check with her supervisor and came back to say yes.total comes $3.20. thanks op.

Unlike Metropcs which has the balls to charge customers $15 everytime they call and request to transfer their sim to a new phone.
