Called the sales team. When I had called the first time, they didn't create an acct number. So now I will have to go thru the whole app procedure again...hopefully the approval will attach to the application. Not sure if it is going to be hard pull or soft pull. Credit dept lady said (when i called the 2nd time) they only count credit check as one if it is within 24 hours or so. Not sure, but to take the word for it. WTF.
Approval from manual review (from credit dept.) will attach. New application should go smoothly. Goodluck!

Note 1B: Most experts here advise to get this plan over phone and NOT online. Several reasons: (no activation fee, and any issues that come up will be addressed right then there). If u do online, there will be a activation fee (which may be credited after 2 months).
Call the dedicated # 866-782-8777 . the folks there are the ones that can help u. In some cases, the calls get routed to a different dept which may not access to this promo. So we advised to start the conversation with something like "i want the free i year promotion. can u help me with that". if the answer is not a emphatic yes ...then it is suggested u hang up and call again (huca)
Any one had ordered sim online (I guess activation too has to be done online in this case?) and got activation fee back in 2 months?

If you do thru account dashboard same day no charges and you get email confirmation. I guess if you want to ask for credits if you did not cancell same day you could use chat.

I found the email confirmation comes (if it does) about 2 or 3 days later recently and you have to watch for it to NOT come at an unknown future time and take further action if it does not arrive in that unknown period of time, which is a huge hassle for me.

It took me about 2 weeks to notice it had NOT come and I was lucky to notice at all.

How do I confirm the sales rep enrolled me in the device protection plan? Where in the dash board do I see it? How do I cancel it?

Must have changed since I did it(July), my email came within an hour. Oh well, maybe with change to Sprint complete from TEP plans it changed for the worse.

I think it may have or else the email was delayed in my particular case for systems reasons or whatever.

If you're enrolled, Sprint Complete would be under your Current Services.

Thank you. I checked under change services for each of the devices in the acct and they all showed no services. I also just chatted with customer service and she also confirmed the same. So I think my plan is setup correctly and everything is good. Thank you all.

My unlocked Huawei Honor 5x phone is found ineligible. Currently on Freedompop. Would I be able to switch to Sprint t-tear trial using the freedompop number and some other phone, e.g. Motorola Moto E4?

Also, today, the URL to check the phone IMEI is not working. Error 404

Yes, it is like a month ago. Chat support said third party handle it now, so cancellation of Sprint complete will no longer updated same day. it will be 2-3 days delay.
