Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

So I assume you did it all online through the promo link in the OP. Correct? Did you happen to read the wiki?

Yes, I went through the promo link and the options were different from the last time I tried so I think this is a very recent change. It wasn't like a loophole or anything

EDIT: Actually I went through a link saved in my bookmarks. The Deal link here seems to lead to a robot talking about deals coming up, which is pretty curious... But when I try to link the link I used here, it also leads to the robot page.

I talked to customer rep about porting my no from lyca mobile to Sprint. He asked all the details including SSN and checked the eligibility and conversation went for an hour. Later he told that I am not eligible to Port into Sprint.
Any idea how I can still do it?

hi,

does anybody know which unlocked dual sim smartphone can be accepted into Sprint BYOD one year free plan?
Iphone XR,XS/Max, although since esim may only work on ATT in US they are not fully dual sim(esim+ removable sim) yet.. Pixel 2,3 but esim only works for FI now so not really full dual sim yet either.

Does anyone know what is going on - I called to port to Tmobile. The woman said that I have to activate the account and fund $3. She said I have to take a Tmobile number first and assigned a number to the sim card that I bought on ebay. I paid $3 for funding it. She told me that there is an error with porting and they need to call Sprint since the phone number isn't eligible for transfer and needs to be released from Sprint? She assured me that when the port happens, my Sprint number will be assigned to this ICCID. Then she transferred me to the porting department and they say a port has started and is saying In progress (which it was even before this funding).

What is going on? So far the number hasn't been ported and its been almost 3 hours.

If I knew that Tmobile port would be this bad, would have ported out to something else..

when i check IMEi for my iphone XS Max on sprint BYOD site, it shows as eligible.
yet this model is not listed in wiki.
will it get inferior coverage if i go with this model, instead of all listed phones/models?

That list is out of date.

The up-to-date listing of eligible devices at https://community.sprint.com/t5/P...-p/1020211
shows that that phone is of course fully eligible. You will get excellent coverage.

As per the wiki, the 120 day rule applies only if you buy the new phone under a Sprint upgrade offer.

Assuming you bought the phone without it being tied to your Sprint account or telephone number or otherwise co-sponsored by Sprint, you can just swap it on immediately.

You can start from your dashboard or use Chat.

To avoid confusion, call it a "device swap" or "IMEI swap" when dealing with Sprint, not any other language such as "upgrade."

.

Has anybody been able to take this offer with an LG Stylo 3 from MetroPCS? The page says mine is not compatible.

Logging into my Sprint account thinking I'll downgrade the service (my BYOD free plan expired yesterday and I tried porting out last night - my bad for delaying it so long)..The phone is still on Sprint but when I try to change plan it says "You cannot change plans or services because you are currently switching at least one line to another carrier. Please chat or visit one of our to learn more."

So I guess the port request is on. What do I do now? The port has not happened yet. Do I call the Sprint porting number to speed this up and port out? Tmobile seems to be useless. Or do I just wait it out?

Has porting to Tmobile taken over 10 hours for anyone else?

ETA: Sprint account is in my name. Created prepaid account with my spouse's name. Currently the ebay ICCID is tied with a new random Tmobile number they gave when activating and funding it. I confirmed that the different names will not be an issue.

I just checked my account and it says savings ends 11/30/19. Does that mean it will update later?

Your time is up, assuming you signed up over a year ago.

I assume you checked in the right place: Dashboard / Manage Plan / See Details.
