Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You have to port in a number. It is a requirement of the offer (see Wiki).

My first year of BYOD is coming to an end next month 01/19. What's the best/easiest method to port out and port back in? I've read that I can use my current SIM card when porting back in using the same phone & number. I just need some help/wisdom porting out successfully before trying to port back in using my wife's ssn

pm if necessary
I ported out to Tmobile a week ago. Just followed what was in the wiki, (got Tmobile iccid from ebay) but had some hiccups along the way - not as smooth as others reported. Instead of taking 5 minutes to port it took me 34 hours and was activated only after I kept calling them. The prepaid department is now called Tmobile Rebellion. They forced me to fund the account with $3 and get a temporary number. I ported out at night which in hindsight I should not have done. They were having system updates.

-Do the porting to Tmobile in the daytime.
-Try telling them you will fund it later. If it doesn't work then just fund the $3.
-You may have to call the Tmobile prepaid rebellion customer care (ask for customer care right away) to activate even after port completes if it doesnt port over in 24 hours.
-I did not even remove my Sprint SIM when I ported back. Just had to power off and on. That part was so much easier for me than the Tmobile port out. Again port back to Sprint in daytime.

If you plan on doing Tmobile porting just search for my post a few pages back to see my experience.

Most TMO iPhone 7's would not have CDMA Sprint support and so not be eligible. If you got it from BestBuy that could be an exception.

But although Lyca is on TMO, you could have gotten the phone anywhere so best check on the checker. It could be eligible..
You can check it in the checker on the Sprint page.

From the list:

"iPhone 7(T-Mobile/ATT Models not supported)"

Yup..and obviously you cannot use the $3 you fund since you don't have a physical sim..but it serves your purpose for porting..

No there is no way and not one single person has been able to do so (other than Christmas bonus temporarily).
