Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi, could the gurus here please advise if this is something I could do when porting a line into an existing 1-year-unlimited plan:

I have two lines with Xfinity. Line A runs on a cheapo LG Android phone. Line B runs on an iPhone. I would like to port Line A to Sprint using the iPhone Line B currently runs on. I'd like to keep Line B's number, but it's a nice-to-have.

How could I achieve this? Can I just call Sprint to provide the IMEI of the iPhone and the phone number of Line A? I am concerned that the iPhone may be in a weird state that neither Xfinity nor Sprint could activate. Please advise.

It will work, but if you want to make sure there are no remnants of the iPhone left on Verizon/XFinity that might confuse Apple a little, port out line B's number (to somewhere, anywhere). That will instantly kill the iPhone's presence on Verizon/XFinity.

Or of you want to keep a number on XFinity, rather than swapping it out, swap the Android into the iPhone's line immediately after you port out the Android's number. This will instantly kill off the iPhone's presence on the old carrier.

This is the worst company. ZERO customer service. You'll find Yourself talking to 6-8 reps every time you call. They transfer you without even let you know. Good luck with the billing surprises every month to the suckers

Congratulations on finding a year and a half old post that you could agree with.
Nobody is getting billing surprises unless they did not read the offer in the first place.
I never had problems being transferred to other reps, but if you have totally confused and unfocused questions and call wrong departments, yes you might.

Just fyi the activation fee is only charged if you activate online. Even then it is credited back in two billing cycles.

Average fees and taxes is $4 (see survey by zip code in the wiki).

Sprint has better and wider coverage than TMobile for many people.

Also Sprint now has free unlimited roaming on TMobile anyway if your phone has the right bands and capabilities..
I beg to differ...

Here is my monthly billing break down and the mentioning of $30 activation fee credit is no where to be found.

Fees and taxes add up to close to $8 a month.
.May be Sprint has good coverage for NYC, but certainly not in Northern Jersey. If and once the TMobile Sprint merger goes through and two networks are combined then coverage will unquestionably improve. It is definitely not $4 a month.

There is nothing to differ about - the survey speaks for itself. I said "average". You happen to be at the high end because you live in a high tax jurisdiction (as you are painfully aware I am sure!).

As to the credit, I did not say anything about it appearing on the first bill.

The plan says the credit will appear in two billing cycles. If you want it before then you can chat and they will usually credit it early. Might as well give it a try!

I think it is maybe due to I didn't port in number for new iPhone and I didn't get an option for it."
Thanks ! I am looking to port in number into my unlocked iphone. I will have my friend try it

I remember there 's no activation fee when we opened the account in Feb, also looks like we only pay $5 per line per month. What 's your math coming from?

I got my Boost Mobile Moto G6 Play unlocked.

I have used the Moto G6 Play on Sprint for 50 days and requested an unlock from Sprint. I ran the UICC unlock, and voila, it worked.

I placed my T-mobile SIM card in and it seems to have full working LTE data. Pretty nice.

This shows it has all the T-mobile LTE bands as well as AT&T. I don't have an AT&T SIM to test band compatibility for AT&T.

Global roaming is described at.

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/se...aming.html

You can use International Chat for any questions,

However, the rate for local calls is usually high so it is probably better to get a local sim card over there if she will be making more than occasional brief phone calls.
I just got back from India while on this plan. As soon as I landed I got a welcome text from Sprint. On my Moto G6 (maybe different for iphone) I initially was unable to get data. I had to change the options from 4G to Auto and then turn on and off Mobile Data. I then had decent 3G coverage, god enough for Maps, calling Uber, Whatsapp, even Whatsapp calls - the last were sometimes spotty. Call rates are $0.25/minute and I did not make a single call on Sprint.
