Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi, my office had an extra Samsung S7 with Verizon so I got it, and my number is currently with Republic Wireless. I have the correct SIM card but the website and CSR both say the phone won't work on Sprint. Yes, I've read the wiki more than I'd like to admit! A week or 2 ago I remember someone posting that if you feel the phone should qualify to do ? The CSR mentioned taking the phone into the store. What should I do AND I have my credit frozen atm. Does anyone know which credit bureau they pull from so I can unlock just that one?
Thanks a bunch!!!!

It is not a matter of unlocking - it is totally incompatible (unless of course it is the unbranded version which is highly unlikely).

You would need to be correct in thinking that it is compatible, not just make it up.

Newest Samsungs sims the same as newest iPhones, no, not exactly.
Newest Pixels sims the same as newest iPhones, yes.

Newest sims are both ISIMs and SIM OTA's. These advanced capabilities are independent of operating system.

Pixel 3 has a lot of advanced features for Sprint for a change, thank goodness, unlike prior Pixels which lacked some major Sprint features. Sprint and Google must have settled some quarrels. Hmm maybe Google is thinking of combining with Sprint if the TMO merger falls through.

How will customer cope with having to pay once the deal is over ?
(If it ever ends)
Once you get addicted at paying $4 and change...it will be really hard to pay full price for any service.

Here are the real cost.
$3 sim
$10 shipping
$30 activation
$4 monthly taxes and fees
$4 monthly sprint surcharges

One year total 43 + 8*12=139
Monthly avg is about $11.50
I regret transferring my Google Voice number to Sprint !!!
Something is wrong with your account as your charges just do not add up. Shipping fee, sim and Activation fee aside (activation fee will be credited back)

Since you live in NJ, the taxes will be very similar for all unless you have more then 1 line active. Hence, from the wiki, here are New jersey Sd'ers who reported back on their cost per month. You can see that there all just about the same. this tell me you either don't have auto pay, or the e-bill thing. If you do then something else looks wrong.. Keep in mind all the "taxes" are supposed to be based on a "$5" per month base rate from what the Wiki states to render taxes. It looks like by your amount your being taxed on the Activation? It's the only way I see it getting to $2.32 in Nj sales tax at 6.875%. Here is the others from NJ that posted there total monthly taxes:
07103 $3.46 / 20 Mbps Yes 1 line
07747 $4.00/ 8 Mbps Yes 2 line
07837 $3.46 / 8 Mbps no(paid)/yes(free) 1 line
08540 $4.00 / ? Yes 1 line
08820 $3.46 / 7 Mbps Yes 1 line

I hope you figure this out and report back as I will be activating soon and live in the same area. Also, there is NO way the taxes in NJ can be more then what the taxes are if you live in Manhattan with this. Here are (2) reporting from NYC... So something is up with yours, would love to know so I don't run into this.. Let us know or Pm me....
NY - Manhattan
10025 $4.41 / 1-3 Mbps Down/0-50Kbps Up Yes&No 1 Line
10128 $4.25 9.7 Mbps/Definite Yes on Recommendation!/1 Line

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...free_year/

says you may be able to, but monthly total payments would go up by $60 at the end of the free year, which might make it a "debt-trap".

You would probably be locked in, and unable to "roll over" the free plan readily with such a lease in place.

Other would not better than I do about this - I just wanted to insert that caution.

Someone said there was a change made last July but I am not certain now what it was.

A lot of people are jumping to a cheap prepaid for 45 days and coming right back to Sprint for another free year or they are reupping with another family member's SSN.
