Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Oh I assumed you had a branded model.

The Sprint pages apply to any branded model (any carrier brand will do now, as we now have brand switching between branded models).

The unbranded model never supported Calling Plus or Wifi Calling or Vosual Voicemail. There are some workarounds. In my opinion the branded model is arguably a better choice now. But the phone you have will be fine too with a possible delay. You also will lack Wifi Calling I think and Visual VoiceMail but there is a Visual Voicemail app in PlayStore.

Here was a workaround but I think it may not work any more (not sure):

If I were you I would just wait for VoLTE now.

Is credit approval required for every line (every person--suppose my mom and I) or just for the main account holder (my mom)?

Is it possible that they closed my account? I called yesterday and the rep said he no longer recognized my SSN in the system.

I've been trying to do this now for 2-3 months with a bunch of obstacles (not credit related-) but rather having to call and then having to a sim card and having to get cooperative operators.

Does this mean they will have to do another hard credit check if I apply again?

Just the original time. You can add further lines by calling the number ending in 8777 and porting in a number without further credit approval.

Hard to say - call the credit department and ask - 800-639-6116. Maybe they can reactivate it if you ask (not sure).

Just main line is sufficient and based on eligibility, you can have up to 5 or more lines.

Why don't you go the store then? Or try a different Walmart?

Live is never easy.

Others have completely different suggestions -including some very good ones. Check prior posts. They are the better people to talk about their recommendations.
Regarding the LG SP200 that you often recommend, it it available here for $68. I have no idea as to the reputation of the seller.

That would be great!

Unfortunately I think may be the Boost model (which is $48 at Walmart) and would probably not be accepted on Sprint postpaid / this plan.

Yes Pixel 3 can be and many people have activated it. However best read posts on using that particular offer for any special considerations on paying it off etc or maybe people will post again..
Do you know if those were Pixel 3's bought directly from Google or from Verizon (not sure if it makes a difference..)?

Piles of people got them from Verizon. They posted here that they get unlocked right after you pay off Verizon. There is a trick to doing that immediately. It is better if you ask them though. There are deal threads too that discuss that for the specific deals.

I think it's OK. Best Buy sells the same one. Also matches the LG UPC 652810819039 for Sprint. But who knows. Let the people who want to buy one do a little work!

Yes, you did find a flaw in my attempted use of UPC to distinguish the variants. It looks to me now that the UPC is not the right criterion to judge by.

One may need to use the full model number instead to be sure.

So, turning to look at full model number, Best Buy has:
LGSP200AVB for the Virgin model,
LGSP200ABB for the Boost model
and LGSP200SLVKT for the Sprint model.

Sprint also lists LGSP200SLVKT as the model it sells on one of its sites.

So probably the person would need to get the full model number from the seller and verify it is LGSP200SLVKT (and ideally test the IMEI in the checker for this plan). And look at the full model number on the outside of the box AND even activate the phone BEFORE opening the box.

It was not your flaw to use UPC, only to rely on Walmart! Walmart has the wrong UPC for the Boost model. Both Best Buy and LG sites list correct UPCs. Best Buy has UPC listed under Specifications. LG site has UPC listed as last item under Connectivity. Sprint UPC=652810819039. Boost UPC=652810819046. Woudn't hurt to also check IMEI as you say, of course.
