Yes the plan to select is "pay as you go" so you don't need to fund it.
Just created the account and then submitted the transfer request. Let's see what happens.
Thank you.

Thx for the info. I skipped the IMEI check, and just checked the box underneath it that says "I understand that skipping the compatibility check could result in activating a device that isn't compatible with T-Mobile's network."

Then entered the SIM number and clicked anywhere but the continue button. In this case, it doesn't activate the sim, correct?

Last time I hit the continue button and it activated the sim, but since I didn't go with any plan, I lost the sim.

I got the message "Sorry, this SIM can't be used with our network or something like this."

So it seems like it expired or something.
It only checks the sim eligibility and yes it does appear invalid

Someone be kind and confirm something for me please- I can port my current sprint phone to a t mobile pay as you go and then come back to sprint to do this. Correct? Also, will I have international free data, as well as sprint WiFi as I currently have with my sprint phones?
I really appreciate any assistance with my questions.

No if you are a current Sprint subscriber you have to be off Sprint 45 days before you can be eligible for new-customer-only offers like this one under your SSN.

Or come back under a different SSN (see Wiki for details)

International Data and Wifi Valling on this plan? Yes. You get Global Roaming but not Premium International Experience..

Thank you for replying. Different ssn isn't an issue. I guess I'll pull up my sleeves, make a coffee and dig into figuring out how to do this deal.

Does anyone know if it works on att iPhone X, I. The post they say no but one of my friend is saying it does work. I still have $500 pending with att, if it works then I'll pay it off and move to this plan
In addition to cointel's reply, if you have the A1901 model, it may not pass eligibility with sprint. Check in your phone's Settings <> General <> About <> Model (Click on the Text)
A1865 would be one of the models you'd want with Sprint.

Please, if someone can clarify - I have a family plan with 4 numbers on SprintBYOD. Only 1 SSN is registered with Sprint. So if I port out to TMobile Pay as you go per the wiki, then do I need to wait for 45 days before porting back to Sprint or can I use the unused SSN to port back in a day or two for the same mobile numbers. Thanks.

Ok, I have successfully ported out of Sprint to Tmobile and figured out how to keep my number. Once the 2 hours or so pass, what's the Sprint number to call to port back in? Having trouble finding it in Wiki...

Sure you can use the unused SSN if it has a credit history with the credit bureau.

Four hours and counting since Port out request to h2o. I haven't turned on the new S8+ whose line I am porting out. Could this be an issue or causing delay in Port request? May be I should insert the SIm card and turn on the phone.

Any thoughts?
