Sure, I don't see why not. Give the wiki post a run through and you'll be ready for anything that's obvious.

Sure, it should. Brush up on the wiki post info and give it try. Let's hope this promo is still around then!

I'm signing up for this, currently have Verizon and a Google voice # tied to that Verizon #.

If I port my Verizon #, will my google voice # be ok and unaffected?
You're not porting your Google voice number so why would it be affected. or maybe it's just too early in the morning for me

Says the number is already on a transfer request. This has been on a transfer request for 2 weeks.

I initially called the number on the wiki but now have been told to call the porting center.

Did you end up porting from Xfinity? Did the 0000 work as a PIN?
I ported a number from Xfinity Mobile to MetroPCS a few weeks ago. 0000 worked as the pin.

Try finding the unreal rep in one of the unreal threads here on SD. Ask him to check into it.

Oh boy. Use search box. Type in unreal. Find the most popular unreal thread. Read the thread and you will find him. It's called effort. I know. It's tough.

Successfully ported over my Republic Wireless number on a Moto G5 plus phone after spending 30 minutes last evening to submit porting details and setting up new Sprint account, and plus another hour today morning with the porting team to get everything squared away. Installed My Sprint app on my phone and confirmed that I am on the "free till Jan 2020", unlimited everything plan.

well it worked out for me in the end, ported out using those digital sims from tmobile, then just went directly to sprint site and signed up again using wife's info (don't really "need" to call), opted in for free shipping for the sim card but since I had them already I just went ahead and activated each phone

another year of unlimited service in a row Smilie

I run into a porting issue and I hope the experts here may have advice on what remedy I may try.

I ported a line (with an iPhone 6) to this deal yesterday. Everything went fine on the phone with the customer service. However, after the activation, the iPhone 6 hasn't been able to stay connected with the Sprint network. It's usually 'No service', but occasionally it would show Sprint with no or just one signal bar, and then go back to 'No service' in a couple of seconds. I have tried the following numerous times on my end to correct the situation:
1. Dial ##clear# and ##update#,
2. Re-seat the SIM.
3. Reboot the phone.

Nothing helped. I tried to contact Sprint support and they weren't helpful.

BTW, I know the port is successful because when there's Wifi, I could use the iPhone 6 to do Wifi calls.. Plus, the account where the line was ported out of shows it as 'deactivated'.

Am I missing any other procedures that may help? Thanks!
I know it's the same but Ting's step by step procedure has helped me in the past. You can give it a try, exactly as follows:

1. Carrier Reset:
* Make sure Roaming is Off (go to Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Options -> Roaming Off)
* Connect to a Wi-Fi network
* Go to dial pad
* Enter ##25327#
* Press Call
* A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - press OK (The iPhone 4 and 4s will not display a "Reset Subscriber Settings" message.)
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen.
When the phone shows a signal again, you can proceed to the next step.

2. Profile and PRL Update:
* Connect to a Wi-Fi network
* Press the phone app
* Dial ##873283#
* Press Call
* Starting Service Update message will appear - press OK
* If update is successful Service Update Complete message will appear after about a minute - press OK.
* If the update is not successful or you get a "Service Update Failed" message, make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and try again.

I'd also try Resetting your Network Settings from Settings <> General <> Reset
Also make sure there's no previous APN settings that may be still on your phone from a previous carrier. Check in Settings <> Cellular <> Cellular Data Options/ Cellular Data Network
If that doesn't work, your final option may have to be Resetting your phone to original factory settings.
