Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Did anyone get upgraded to 50gb for hotspot? I had 10gb when I signed up for this service.
Everyone who had the 10 GB hotspot did as far as I know.

Of course this only applies to those who signed up prior to mid-July and have a hotspot in the first place.

I am on BYOD plan for past 3 months and I lost my sim card today.

Can I go to the store to get a new sim card or do I call 866-782-8777 and wait for the sim card to arrive?

Just get one from any Sprint CORPORATE-owned store for $2.99 or less or if it is an iPhone free from most Apple stores. Do not let the Sprint store touch the phone or your account.

You need the specific sim that is appropriate for your phone model.

Then do a sim swap via chat or from your DashBoard - takes only a minute

From the system's point of view, you are swapping out the old sim that it knows about and swapping in a new one.

That is a standard routine task. There will be no problem understanding what you want and doing it.

You do not need to actually have the old sim to do so.

To summarize, you have to call the number ending in 8777 with a number ready to be ported in from a competing carrier, and you have to have the phone and sim ready too. You can get the sim locally for $2.99 from any Sprint CORPORATE store or, for iPhones, free from most Apple stores. , It has to be the exact right sim for your phone.

What about porting out when the 1 year is up? Just port out to T-mobile, for example, and the Sprint account is automatically null and void? Or do I need to contact Sprint to close the account so I don't keep getting charged?

Porting out is sufficient and in fact is the best way.

Actually if you are a current customer and you can just go to a Sprint corporate store or they will give you a SIM card for free

It is okay to give them your phone number just don't let them do anything else to your account
