Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi, I m new here. Can someone help me? I got 4 lines with Sprint BYOD free plan. Then I had to port out two lines to metropcs for their promotion. Do you know if I can port my numbers back to my account? I tried to port back one phone line using my husband SSN as a new account, but Sprint representative illegally port my line and put me under the kickstart $25 plan. I was so mad when I talked to the BYOD department, they said the CS ported my line already under kick start before she transferred my phone call to them. There was nothing they can do. I escalated this matter to their executive level, but they said they are still investigating. They claimed that I m not qualified for the free year promotion for the free year service because I m not postpay customer. At this point, I m not sure if they will fix it, but I have another line that i need to port to Sprint under my husband new account..Now I m stuck because I can't port the other line unless the plan is fixed. So I am thinking to port the second line back to my original Sprint account. Is it possible? Since I don't know when the promotion will end. I just want a quick solution to my situation. Anyone has any suggestion. Thank you so much for your help. Btw, I really want the CS who illegally port my line to get her commission to get some consequent, so she will not do that to other customers. That's totally illegal. Thank you.
Yes, you can port back into sprint from metropcs.
For your husband's line, I would port out of sprint ASAP, using one of the methods mentioned in the wiki. Sprint has "14 day satisfaction policy", so for a quick resolution, you can cancel that $25 plan. Then just port his line back onto your original plan.

Hello,

My google pixel 2xl is going into roaming even with very good sprint LTE signal.
Cust rep. says my Xfinity internet signal is the reason for this.
Any solution for this .
Check your roaming usage statistic as shown by Sprint. If this shows zero roaming data usage, then this is normal free unlimited roaming on TMobile and is a good thing, not bad.

If Sprint decides they won't extend the Jan 30, 2020 end date, will we have any time at all to jump on this before they stop accepting new accounts?

My plan currently ends on April 30, '19 and and am looking at opening a 2nd account using my wife's SSN but waiting to see if Sprint is going to extend the ending date again.
It could go either way but they have been giving a few days notice re Kickstart when those offers end.

Personally I doubt they will end it with zero notice but they could.

Giving notice would allow them to get a final bunch of last-minute signers-up so I think they would do that but there is no guarantee of that.

They could end it tomorrow or any day too. Is that likely? No.

When you say get it off FI does it mean you need to move to another provider?
That is not required - you can just port your number somewhere else for safekeeping, which will close your Fi Account.

Then get Fi to reset the ownership flag so you can use it on Sprint postpaid (set mvno flag to SPCS).

See wiki for how to use a temporary stay on TMobile Prepaid or Numberbarn for the number.

Very good!

Free unlimited roaming on TMobile that does not count against plan roaming limits is a recent enhancement to improve service in certain areas.

Some phones show it as roaming via their roaming icon and some not. Sprint is updating phones where they can so the roaming icon does not show needlessly when it is on the free unlimited TMobile roaming.

My S8 showed it as a big R at first but they just fixed that in a recent update so that people do not worry needlessly as you did.

They cannot totally resolve these inconsistencies until the merger is approved.

Apple Iphone XR is missing from the eligible or the expired list. Could someone comment on it? I have a T mobile XR which is showing ineligible for activation, however that may be because of it being locked with T mobile for 2 months. My understanding is that the XR has both CDMA and GSM capability so it should be working on either.

Correct, will be fine, just checkout the link for the latest eligible list from beginning of the wiki post. Also run your imei through the checker.
Where was it showing "ineligible for activation?"

I tried to get the 1 year free plan. Unfortunately, I could not due to some issues. My wife is on dependent visa and she does not have a SSN. Is it possible for my wife to get this 1 year free plan. I read the wiki about the SSN part and I could not find any related information as to whether the SSN is mandatory or not to get this offer.

thats too bad

Note 1: Promotion CANNOT be done in store. You must ORDER ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE @ 866-782-8777. BE SURE to ask for the bring your own device FREE 1 Year Plan and be sure the rep verifies it before ending your call. Do not go to a store for help & avoid having them set up your plan or make any changes!

1a: Most experts here advise to get this plan over phone and NOT online.
Several reasons: (No activation fee, and any issues that come up will be addressed right then there).
Now verified that BYOD phone in is waiving the sim card shipping fee so your cost will be $2.99 plus tax. New BYOD or an existing account!
Call the dedicated # 866-782-8777. The folks there are the ones that can help u. The telesales folks are in the Philippines .

In some cases, the calls get routed to a different dept which may not access to this promo.

So we advised to start the conversation with something like "i want the free 1 year promotion. can u help me with that". if the answer is not a emphatic yes ...then it is suggested u hang up and call again (huca)

I would contact [email protected] (Sprint Senior VP Marci Carris) Include the details you listed in your post. She can take care of getting you on the correct plan.

It's $2.50 per line.
Administrative Charge

The Administrative Charge is applied per line, per month by Sprint to help defray various costs incurred by Sprint, including, but not limited to: charges we, or our agents, pay local telephone companies for delivering calls from our customers to their customers; fees and assessments on our network facilities and services; property taxes; and the costs we incur responding to regulatory and legal obligations. The Administrative Charge appears as a separate line item under Sprint Surcharges of your invoice. This charge is not a tax and is not an amount we are required to collect from you by law. The Administrative Charge and the components used to calculate this charge are subject to change from time to time.
