I went to one last night and they didn't have any and acted like it was a long shot kind of question I asked. I'll try to do another store today and hopefully they have better customer service.

You can order one online too with free shipping if you can't find a corporate Sprint store.

I recently received an email stating my promotion ends on 01/31/2109, with my new Unlimited Freedom Plan becoming effective on 02/01/2019.

My AutoPay is scheduled to process on 01/22/2019. I am planning to port out to another carrier.

When is the best time to port out, avoiding the fees for the non-promotional plan?

Anyway to set up Sprint Visual Voicemail with the Google Pixel 1. When I try to go to the Google Play store it says the app is not compatible with my device. Thanks.

They are max. $2.50 (sometimes free) at any Sprint-owned store but independently owned stores usually will not sell them or only at whatever price they want. Maybe if you are a neighbor they might give you one.
Quote from comintel :
That sounds like a franchise.

How did you verify it was a corporate OWNED store, if you did?

Every single one is required to sell them.

Just ask for the 4-in-one sim kit for $2.99.

Call ahead.

If you are having trouble distinguishing corporate owned stores, go to one with a repair department.
Thanks, went into store today and asked for kit. Told them I had signed up on phone and they were cool with it. They had the $2.99 kit, but I hadn't really signed up yet, so needed account to tie it to and will go back to get it tomorrow hopefully after calling in and creating account.

Went to a sprint store to get a sim for my new iphone. I chatted them up and they ask me for my number and my pin. I gave them my number but said i dont remmeber my pin— i didnt want the risk of them changing my plan. They rang up the sim card for $0 and gave me receipt with my nimber. I was still paranoid that would be able to force a change on my plan somehow but everything looks good.

My unlocked Galaxy Note 9 (originally from Tmobile) is coming up as ineligible.
Any way to add it?
Branded Note 9 is not eligible so no.
Should be by March-April (depending on SAMSUNG release of BYOD brand switching).

No that is not the way to so it.

I am sorry this is so complicated and I am sure it must be frustrating to you..

You need the sim kit first before you can sign up.

It is just a part. Buy it for cash and take it home unopened. You do not need any of their store services to hook it up and should not use them. They are likely to mess up your account. It has happened to to many people.

I suspect you may have not read the full Wiki.

Maybe it is easier to just call the number and order the kit to be shipped.

I realize they are just trying to be helpful but it is too risky in my opinion to let them. Too many people have ended up on the wrong plan if they let the store touch it. Then it takes ages to try to fix it up after the fact.

Both staff and customers have a commendable expectation and instinct to involve store staff in the process but this unique offer cannot work that way. Store staff cannot be involved for this offer because there is no revenue to pay the normal commission / store fees that they are counting on charging against the account. So the store has incentive to put you on a different plan.

You did EXACTLY the right thing by NOT giving them your pin. Giving them your pin is giving them permission to make changes to your account.

Yes you should turn on roaming to allow use of free unlimited TMO roaming.. Sprint VVM is not supported on that (Verizon-centric) phone. A bunch of other things will also not work.
