Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Not in general. Well a couple of people did at the start.

Quoting the offer:
"See Other Terms: Offer/coverage not avail. everywhere or for all phones/networks. May not be combinable with other offers, including but not limited to AAA, AA, Credit Union, Premium International Experience, Port in credits, Prepaid Reward Cards, Referral Rewards programs and IB/Lease promotions."
Thanks. It is not clear, but applied any ways. See what happens.

FYI, I didn't get the AA offer when I signed up for the free byod plan the first time around in 2017.

Not much hope, but let's see.

Sure - no harm trying. I have in the past, including the credit card one.

I ported in my iphone 6 from Lycamobile and it works great right now, so I tried to port in my friend's Huawei. Her Huawei Mate 20 pro is not on the eligible list so I tried both of its IMEIs (yep, this phone has IMEI1 and IMEI2) and neither were eligible. I saw this phone supports band 26, what can I do now?

No band BC10 (needed for voice calls).

No band 41.

You'll have to find another phone.

(Not that having all the bands would qualify it necessarily but it would indicate that it was close enough that Sprint might consider it).

Not sure if this specific question has been asked before and I think this is possible from what I've read.
I used an unlocked iPhone SE previously used on this BYOD to "bank" a phone number on Xfinity Mobile.
Should I be able to use the same phone but with my Sprint sim card to port a number from MetroPCS to my Sprint account?
That is, can I use two active sim cards from different carriers in the same phone?

But my iphone 6 (A1549 GSM version) also doesn't have BC10 and band 41, it only has band 25 and 26 and it works great now. I checked the definition and it says sprint uses band 26 to cover BC10 (band 27@800mhz) and BC0(band 5), so I think technically that Huawei should work well in Sprint, but I don't know why they said it's ineligible.

It's not as good as AT&T, Verizon or T-mobile, but there is nothing wrong with it - it works. No 90mbps on speedtest and got a few more dead spots in the area with everything is supper slow that AT&T did not have, but it's 100% tollerable and working.
I've managed to get multiple >100Mbps speed tests in my area, the highest at 284Mbps in the NW suburbs of Chicago.

It is an international phone so sprint doesn't approve it even it supported sprint bands The mate 20 pro lacks the latest bands for all US carriers so it's may be a good phone but not on US carriers. It lacks cdma bands and lacks lte 71 for T-Mobile, lte band 14 for att, lte band 13 for Verizon, and lte 25,41 for Sprint.
With regards to A1549 it has CDMA bands but no lte band 41 for Sprint. At release IPhone 6 A1549 was capable with cdma but Verizon only allowed iPhones sold by verizon. So that was why the A1549 was listed as a cdma or gsm version but in fact the gsm version supported cdma.

Any chances this deal will continue beyond 1/31/2019? My current BYODoffer ends in April and thinking if I should renew now or wait.

You will get it back but what is the phone and what happens?

Most likely it is a handset problem and people here can help you resolve it better than people in a store could.

Try resets, power cycle etc.

The store staff know less about BYOD phones than people here do.
The store guy ran through every possible test. They do show me activated, but the phone just won't connect to the network. It is a LG V30+. It is one of those BREED unlocked phones though so I'm betting that is the issue.

I tried power cycles and they tried typing in some codes to get it to connect along with resetting a few things. We also factory reset it and nothing worked. The Sprint store gave up and told me to ask for an activation refund or buy a new phone.

It would half-work, just like the iPhone 6 does. As a legacy semi-obsolete phone, that may be ok.

For a new phone, I doubt Sprint would support any phone lacking those bands.

Band 41 is Sprint's key high-speed band, needed also for Magic Box.

Band BC10 is essential to wide area voice calling.

It would bring both Huawei and Sprint into disrepute to allow on such a crippled phone today. Speeds would be terrible. Voice calls would be limited range.

Band 26 and BC10 use different portions of 800 MHz. One is LTE and one is CDMA Voice. They have nothing to do with each other.

See the recent discussion. You may find it pretty interesting.
It may pay to wait a LITTLE longer for a potential 2-3 month gain as discussed there.
