Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I attempted to use the deal. They ported my number over, but I never got service! After a week wasted with customer service pretending to be working on my problem, I'm switching back to Tmobile.

Sprint is worthless

Edit: I can't switch back because I don't have the 2FA for my sprint account (since I can't get texts!) so I lost my number for nothing
Does your phone recognize sprint's SIM? I had no service after porting back, although it said "Sprint" on display. Called their porting number. I was given carrier reset code #....#. Once I punched in those numbers, phones worked right away. Try it. Also punch in your IMEI to see whether it is already active on Sprint. In my case, it showed the lines being active but just couldn't receive/place calls or texts.

A proper credit check - hard pull. If there is no good credit history, then they will ask for personal info that one usually sees while checking annual credit reports. Better have the person calling or nearby to answer

Thanks desi_babu_2010. My wife is already on the Sprint Free plan but on her own separate acct. If I use, let's say my son's SSN, will they not ask for his name, info etc. if a credit check is involved and he is not even 16 yet?
Have you considered putting all the lines on her plan?

There can be up to 5 lines on a plan.

Yes, once it has that Sprint on display but no calls or text meaning it just needs to be carrier reset or if it is an iPhone, you may need to check the "activation policy" of that phone.

I've managed to get multiple >100Mbps speed tests in my area, the highest at 284Mbps in the NW suburbs of Chicago.
Very nice. I get around 250 at Yorktown. What phone were you using?

Just FYI for this coming from T-Mobile, T-Mobile and Sprint are in the process of merging. If the FCC doesn't shut it down, you're likely to end up with T-Mobile again. Lol
Really? Shocking

I was wondering if anyone here has experience in swapping phones for two Sprint lines. Is it as simple as switching the phone for one line first, and then switching the second line to the other phone? Or do I need a third phone as a trampoline to get that done? Thanks.
I would call Sprint first and see if they can do the swap for you. For self-service, you need a third phone to do the swap. The IMEI and SIM ICCID have to be cleared from existing line before you can use them on another line. You can use a dummy 3G IMEI (no SIM ICCID needed) as the third phone if you don't have one. Google if you don't know what dummy IMEI is.
