Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is there a way to cancel Sprint Complete service ($15/mon)? I tried it from My Sprint, but received the error message: Internal Error.

Should I call the rep?
Not sales reps - they are the problem, not the solution!

Just Chat to cancel it.

Or call regular support numbers (not the 8777 Sales number) and they can do it.

Thanks so much, I'm on the chat session now.

BTW, after the rep cancelled it, how long you have to wait for the account to be updated?

Is anybody getting 50GB Mobile Hotspot with this sprint deal " Sprint BYOD: 1-Year Unlimited Talk, Text & Data"?
As mentioned in the slick dealwiki page: Note: You may see 50GB Mobile Hotspot. This is a holiday bonus and may end at a date not yet announced.

I signed up with Sprint BYOD: 1-Year Unlimited Talk, Text & Data. I did not get 50GB Mobile Hotspot. A friend of mine got. Please, any update.

Have you considered putting all the lines on her plan?

There can be up to 5 lines on a plan.
Unfortunately her plan ends in 3 months, so it won't be much helpful to use her acct. Thanks

Tell your friend to check they are on the Free plan.

Look at Dashboard / Manage Account / See Details or in the App to verify.

Most likely they are on a Paid plan unfortunately for them.

Or else they signed up before last July.

It is not clear to me how many accounts you have now. Do you and your wife each have accounts?

If there are two accounts now, just consolidate them onto your wife's account for now and then you can use the SSN that frees up to open a new account in 45 days and move them to the new account at that time, all before your wife's plan expires in 3 months.

Otherwise you could move the lines onto another carrier for 45 days and start over. The plan was just extended so if you do it now you can be back on at the end of Feb.

Thanks a lot, the rep cancelled it. (I gave a reason to the rep that ...I have a few spare phones & don't want to pay $15/mon. Big Grin)

Just wonder how long the account will be updated, after the rep cancelled it?

It should be gone tomorrow and if there is any charge at all on the bill it would be prorated for the period it was on which would be negligible.

Yes, you guys are absolutely right...the device is 24 months billing credit & the service is either $10 (for 2GB) & $25 (Unlimited). I will call & cancel it. Frown
I'm enjoying it. I have an Amazon Echo in my car for streaming music. My car has OnStar hotspot that is serviced via ATT. They charge $25 unlimited, $10 for 1gb. ATT service either has data or is turned off. Sprint unlimited low speed. I'm yet to hit low speed to see if audio streaming still works.

So the price is good. Although the car has a built in cell service that has better antenna , etc. the Sprint Drive offers car tracking included which is a different add on service with OnStar. Sprint Drive seems to use from iits data pool for this tracking reporting though.

Of note, with the Sprint dongle I stalled, OnStar remote diagnostic reporting reports an error because another dionostic device is installed.

When did the 50GB start?
Was it specifically labeled as a "holiday" specific promotion, or jut popped up then?
Is the 50GB per month?
While I know it can end at any time, was there an implied/intended/expected end date?

The 50GB Hotspot was only available to those who signed up for BYOD before July 2018.
