Here is what I was thinking...

(I have fully unlocked Iphone XR)
1. Move Primary ATT service to Esim (internal SIM)
2. Port over some random # i have from FreeUp / H20
3. Try sprint Service (Via real SIM) (disable XR Esim some how on Iphone)

OR

1. Sign up for SPRINT (port random #) with my Iphone 7 {does this phone have the right bands??!?!)

Thoughts?
Both are fine, as long as the 7 isn't the A1778 model, which isn't sprint eligible.
You can see the wiki for additional eligibility info.

I have ported one of my phone number from H2O to Sprint BYOD plan. Works fine, no issues.

I have another line with Virgin Mobile and wanted to add line to my BYOD plan. When I tried checking eligibility, it says phone is not eligible for this offer.

I read the wiki and this is what it states-
"If going from Virgin Mobile or Boost to Sprint; do I have to use someone else's SSN? No you do not. Although Virgin and Boost are part of Sprint, their customer accounts are separate from Sprint Postpaid accounts."

I have already purchased Sprint SIM and wanted to know (based on someone experience) if they were successfully ported from Virgin Mobile to Sprint. How was it done ?

I am trying to take intermediate route of porting to Tmobile / Other SIM and then porting to Sprint.

TIA

To be a new customer after 45 days with Sprint. I have to port out all line. What's about Sprint Magic BOX ( already returned) ? Do I need to call to close the account?
Well you need to get the Magic Box off the account if it is still there.
What I do is port off its number to kill it right away when I port out my own numbers.
Does it still show on your account?

I had exactly the same situation. So I told rep I don't have a physical phone because my old phone was not compatible with Sprint and I need to buy a new phone. He asked for 4 last digits of my sim and than provide me with my account#.
Went to the TMobilestore and they pulled up my account no questions asked. There was no account number so he said it was just my phone number....guessing since it was a pre-paid and never had funds actually activate it.
Sprint used 1+phone number and port was authorized.

Yes, as I say, I port mine out to kill it.
I have done so twice.
If you port out to H2O you can do it for free (thanks Desi) by letting it die there.

I have unlocked iPhone XR. If I activate the phone on sprint, would my phone be locked to sprint?

The phone has to be off Virgin (or any other Sprint network provider) before it can show as eligible.

I had the same issue. I had to port out from virgin to T-Mobile first. Once my phone was ported to T-Mobile, I was able to port back to the BYOD free year sprint. The wiki is talking about being eligible without waiting a year. Another tip is to get your account # from virgin by contacting them since they failed to put that anywhere in their website.

I should have thought of that myself (except I do not want an iPhone)..

But yes, you can definitely port it out - I did it one on Friday - so go for it!
