Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is it Sprint's normal practice to re-lock a phone when it's activated? I have a Sprint Essential phone that was unlocked a few months ago (while it was on 1st year of BYOD). Today, I switched it to another BYOD account, and it is now locked to Sprint. Is this normal?

Maybe see if the sequence given here will work:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...al_phones/

First, open the dial pad of the phone and enter
* # * 72786 # * # * (**NO SPACE IN BETWEEN CHARACTERS **)

It will ask for reset the system setting to factory Defult select "YES"

It will restart your phone. Once it reset and restarts let it load and wait.

It may Restart once again. (Let it finish that cycle).

Once it Go to the setting>>> Celluar Networks >>Preferred Network type "Select CDMA + LTE/EvDO"

Now go to Settings >>> About Phone >>>OMADM and run Update PRL>>>then Update Profile and then UICC Unlock.

My phone was unlocked and now works with all the network including Verizon/ATT/T-mobile/H2O wireless too.

It didn't work. My phone is still locked to Sprint. I'll wait 40 days and then call Sprint to have it unlock again.

Sure.

You could also call and they might unlock it right away since it was unlocked before. I think that is their policy.

I see.

Are the voice mails actually there in Visual VoiceMail if you do look?

If so, that would normally be a matter of notification settings in the phone would it not? Or possibly a bug in a recent update?

No, they don't show up in Visual Voicemail. The only way I even know I have a voicemail is when I call to check. And it can be weeks before I remember I need to call to check. :/

It is probably set for wrong mode for that phone.

I would try the tips at
https://www.sprint.com/en/support...email.html

and if those do not work chat or call Support.

I think they can reset it.

Yeah I think it has something to do with the policy. Apple's policy is not compatible with Sprint for phones purchased in Canada. It's an iphone 6.

My phone is pretty old, if I buy a new phone would I be able to plug in the SIM and have it work? They guy on the phone said that the plan would not work if my phone broke, but that was when he was pitching the insurance.
Call apple to have your policy reset. Search here for my post, this is what i did. First you need to purchase a report for the phone on ebay, 1 or 2 bucks.

I noticed it shows the Stylo 4 as compatible. I went ahead and checked to see if it would work and nope, it said the device is ineligible. I have a MetroPCS version, unlocked. I then checked my MetroPCS iPhone SE and that one shows as eligible.
