Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I noticed it shows the Stylo 4 as compatible. I went ahead and checked to see if it would work and nope, it said the device is ineligible. I have a MetroPCS version, unlocked. I then checked my MetroPCS iPhone SE and that one shows as eligible.
Metropcs' Stylo 4 is gsm, as mentioned in the latest eligible list in the wiki, you would need model Q710UL for sprint.
iPhone se models are mostly all eligible for sprint.

Is it Sprint's normal practice to re-lock a phone when it's activated? I have a Sprint Essential phone that was unlocked a few months ago (while it was on 1st year of BYOD). Today, I switched it to another BYOD account, and it is now locked to Sprint. Is this normal?
Sprint will ALWAYS re-lock all phones no matter if they were previously unlocked or were purchased elsewhere unlocked, then must wait 45 days to request unlock.

If you call and complain forcefully about this unfair behavior they may unlock it within 48 hours. It's been done.
Make sure you request the unlock for BOTH domestic and international, and make sure you get a ticket/reference/case #.
Also, make sure the phone is on and on WiFi when the unlock code is sent OTA or it may not get unlocked.

A Sprint # to get the unlock request may still be: 888-226-7212. It's the Sprint Int'l unlock #.
Or the Sprint CS # may work: 800-SPRINT1.

Maybe see if the sequence given here will work:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...al_phones/

First, open the dial pad of the phone and enter
* # * 72786 # * # * (**NO SPACE IN BETWEEN CHARACTERS **)
The correct code is: *#*#72786#*#* for many newer Android phones like the Essential.

As noted by Sam, you must be looking at an obsolete list.

The only current list, linked to in the Wiki, says:

LG

G7 ThinQ (G710ULM)

Stylo 4 (Q710UL)

V30S (US998)

V35 ThinQ (V350ULM)

V40 ThinQ (LM-V405QA)

X charge (US 601)

Why do you say that?

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/se...aming.html
shows India as included.

High speed data is modestly more.

But calls are expensive so may be better to get a local sim or a second phone with a local sim..

Yes. It will. Low speed data and texting is not charged. Calls will be charged at $0.25 per minute. You can sign for higher speed data as in the link given by ComIntel. Infact, the same terms are available in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, which I have used.

The data speed is good enough for WhatsApp - as long as there is not big images to be downloaded.

Getting a local SIM for India is not easy. Best option that I have found - for India as well as many other countries is to sign up for Google Fi. That gives you LTE data at the same prices you sign up in US.

Yes as described in the Wiki in more detail. (It explains how confusion arises on this issue and how NOT to do it wrong so you need to read it - post 3 in the thread).
