Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My friend wants to upgrade his phone on his Sprint paid acct. There is no promo for iPhone for upgrade. All the promos are associated with a new line (except BOGO where one of the lines can be an upgrade). I suggested him to port out to ATT prepaid ($10 or so). And then port back that number on a new line and get the promo for the iPhone X.

Any issue with the above suggestion? Also, what is the procedure to get the acct and pin info for ATT prepaid service so that it can be ported back to Sprint? Thank you.
For this particular sprint free plan offer, there's no device promo he can be eligible for.

I have a sim free iPhone SE. It said compatible for sprint. But I only get 3g data. How can I force it to roam to tmobile lte band?
I had similar experience on my Moto G4. I had used it with ATT before using it on Sprint. I would delete all the APNs associated with T-Mob (in your case). Hopefully that will fix the issue. After deleting ATT APN on my Moto G4, LTE worked fine. Otherwise I was only getting 3G data.

I bought the 4-in-1 SIM kit. I used only one SIM. Can I use the remaining 3 SIM cards in the pack for different lines? They all seem to have different ICC IDs. Thanks!
Sure, if your eligible phones use that model of sims that are left.

That sprint guy....he screwed the whole thing. He ran my credit. Then asked few questions that I answered. Not sure what options he selected on his screen. At the end he says, application is not approved. Pls try again after 60 days. So annoying.

Well that would depend on the phone offer he is looking to use. Usually if sprint is looking to offer it as a new customer, he would have to wait at least 45 days away from sprint before he would be considered a "new customer".

Promo is either new customer or new line.

Ok, then no porting needed, if he's just adding a new line for that device promo.

Postpaids are typically a hard pull, a few points ding.

See Wiki's FAQ #4
Depends on what you're trying to do, are you moving both your Fi device and number?
Yes, is it better to move just the number?

Depends what you desire. To use the Fi device with Sprint, follow the previously mentioned wiki instructions for switching the Fi device for Sprint. If you want to keep your phone number, port it out.

Just FYI, I ported my freedompop number over to Sprint (new BYOD customer), and it worked flawlessly. Took perhaps 15mins to port and activate. Port out info details can be obtained online, and details are on the wiki page.

I am on google fi are we still able to move it to sprint, i tried talking to google fi and asking them to remove my number off the database so i can transfer to sprint but they have no idea what I am talking about
You have to get both the phone and the number OFF Fi FIRST. Porting the number off is enough because it will kill the phone too.

Say port the number onto TMobile Prepaid for example.

Have you done that yet?

Until you do that, you cannot do anything. It will show as ineligible in the Sprint checker. Is that that what you are seeing so far?

Then once it is off Fi, test it again in the checkers, including Ting as well as Sprint.

If it says ok in the Sprint checker, sign up.

More likely it will say "....you owe Sprint..."

If it does, call Fi TECH SUPPORT and ask them to flip the MVNO flag in the Sprint database from PLBL to SPCS. Escalate within Fi until they do it. They have done it for dozens if not hundreds of people here. You have to be insistent. There is no other way. Well, there is another way, but this way is EASIEST by far.

If you are not willing to test things in the checkers and so forth, you cannot do this. You need to get into these details. You cannot leave out some of these steps. .

Silly Q. When we port out the number from sprint , does the online account remain available where we can login and which will show/ allow the balance remaining on that ported ( therefore closed) line which can be paid through that online account for closed line/ number ?
