Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

We never said it could just automatically be done online.

Most of us recommend calling only.

Probably the rep has to have the credit department remove your SSN from the old account, that's all.
thank you, I will call today
For my situation, should I call the 1 phone number on error page? 2 signup phone in wiki ? 3 credit check failure phone number in wiki?

Anyone know if activating an additional BYOD line, including porting, can be done 24/7 via phone or online, or if Sprint customer service for this has limited hours?

Called the 866 number and it said web chat for this offer is available 24/7 but I can't seem to find the chat button online, and don't know if I can port or activate via chat.

Wondering if I need to wait till the weekend or if I can do this one evening.
Web chat will not help with this particular offer. It will just mess things up to ask anything about this offer to Web Chat as they guess at all answers and are wrong most of the time. Customer service cannot help either regarding signup questions. .

The number ending in 8777 is open long hours into the evening (well past midnight) but not a full 24 hours. Just call back.

Definitely the signup number in the Wiki.

The number on the error page leads to complete disaster as it is a generic message and a generic number. The people at that number usually tell people this offer is over and try to sell them some paid plan.

It probably will be but it does not matter because within 24 hours it only counts as one check. At least you get signed up this way. You can call the other numbers if you prefer but that way you probably will not get signed up.

The wiki clearly recommends do NOT use the online signup because of issues like this.

Just take the insurance if they press it and cancel it later via Chat.

It happens often wiki note 12. Or browse last day or two someone had the problem.
I called the credit dept with the credit application number, rep tried running the credit again using my wife's SSN n name.. not able to verify and he said I should be receiving a mail within 10 business days with reason... and asked me to try again after 60 days...

PS: last year the account was under my SSN n my name..

How many people have actually been able to reuse t-mobile sim cards? I just checked my 5 digital sims so I can port out 4 lines on a second account but they all come back "cannot be used on our network". I also have some physical sim cards I ordered before that I saved and those aren't working either.

I used the t-mobile website to port out 5 lines at night time, then ported back to sprint the next morning.

I entered a sim number I purchased on ebay that I had previously used for porting and it came back with this result just now:
"Success! Your SIM is ready to be used with your device"
I obviously didnt proceed after that, so not sure if it would go through?

Well WTH. I have 5 purchased late november and not a single one will work. Also have some older ones where i bought the physical card and none of those either. Yes, it probably would work, all of mine fail that check and instead I get " Sorry, that SIM can't be used on our network" Curious to understand why it works for some, and I got zero out of 5, even 1 or 2 would have been cool with me.

Has anyone been able to reuse sim cards that ported to T-moble through the website? is that the link, everyone reusing them did it over the phone? maybe not funding the account is the trick? I just like trying to understand things. I'll just buy 4 new sim cards and not have to worry about it for another year

Poor credit users usually limited to prepaid services for major carriers. Speed, location dependent but T-Mobile lte data now included which can help.
T-mobile LTE data now included? They just switched TMO on for all the Sprint customers?

Can any of the Sprint reps that frequent this post/thread provide any update to the news below on Sprint customers and the TMO merger?

The last thing I read was in December HERE [tmonews.com] "The process would begin with new customers visiting Sprint stores, who would be signed up for T-Mobile plans rather than a Sprint plan. When T-Mobile's network had enough capacity, it would begin moving Sprint customers over to the T-Mo network."

I waited a couple months and signed up again yesterday morning.

For some reason I'm not seeing my credit card on the account (no payment method) and I'm not enrolled in autopay. At least I'm on the correct plan.
