Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Actually it makes it easier since there is no need for a new Sprint Sim card.
A Sprint Sim and a phone are married together forever.
I think the biggest question would be is when porting back in could Sprint block it because the number was previously (recently) with Sprint? Is the 45 day window only for the customer (SSN) and not the phone number?

Also, with the AT&T SIM information you supplied. Does that work for Sprint phones? Does the Sprint phone have to be unlocked? Or does she not even need to install the AT&T SIM? Just need it for the account #, phone # and PIN?

It applies only to the SSN and to nothing else.
Number, phone, sims can all be reused immediately.
This is covered very well in the Wiki at post 3 in this thread.

As long as she's a new customer with a new SS # there is no problem.
The 45 day window is the waiting period only for an existing Sprint customer (SSN).

The ATT sim should work on an iPhone. In any case, the ATT sim can be used on ANY GSM compatible phone that's not locked to a specific provider.
The only time you'll need the ATT sim installed is to receive the texts that ATT will send.
1. You'll get the ATT account # from the rep when you call to port the Sprint # to the ATT prepaid,
2. you'll have the tel. # (Sprint #),
3. you'll need the ATT prepaid account Pin that you can try to get set up with the help of the ATT rep when you call to add the $10, and at this time you can also ask for the ATT prepaid account #. The temporary Pin is the last 4 digits of the ATT phone # that'll come with the ATT Sim. That Pin must be changed to a permanent Pin to port the Sprint tel. # back to Sprint. The ATT prepaid activation Tel. # is 877-426-0525 to speak with a rep.

You can change that Pin online here but you'll need a working ATT compatible phone with the ATT Sim inserted to receive the text that ATT sends to change the Pin:

Same phone....2 lines...It showed as eligible 5 mts after i ported out to T-Mob. Never had to take out the old sprint SiMs from my phones...just followed the steps from wiki ...worked flawless!
I am trying to activate a 2nd year of service by porting out of Sprint and porting-in back. I have gone through the wiki which is recommending to use T-Mobile online to port out. I am just curious to know if anyone recently tried porting out through T-Mobile rep and whether the reps still insist on funding the account? I used to go through T-Mo reps earlier. If they have started insisting to fund the account, I would rather go through T-Mobile Online route.

Web chat will not help with this particular offer. It will just mess things up to ask anything about this offer to Web Chat as they guess at all answers and are wrong most of the time. Customer service cannot help either regarding signup questions. .

The number ending in 8777 is open long hours into the evening (well past midnight) but not a full 24 hours. Just call back.
Very helpful to know, thanks! I'll avoid the web chat.

It's been mixed but recently many have said the reps are now instructed to fund pay as go accounts.

When you do it online, make sure to note your account number on the final confirmation screen. I just kept that page open while I called Sprint.

Of course there is always the possibility of "divorce" and "death", but if that doesn't happen .......... they stay together.
If the possibilities above happen, .......... then you must call a lawyer....... call Sprint that is .... to swap "spouses"!
And for the person this was referring to above these possibilities did not seem applicable!

From the Wiki, (maybe you wrote some of these):

d. Sprint sim are not like others (ATT, TM, etc). You cannot simply swap sims on phones. You must contact Sprint and let them know you are going to swap phones & then provide Sprint the imei of new phone.

SPRINT SIMS CAN BE RE - USED. IF YOU HAVE A OLD SPRINT SIM [for your model of phone], THEN THERE IS NO NEED TO GET A NEW SIM. This also applies to SPRINT MVNO's like {TING, TELLO, etc} All use SPRINT SIM

When I try to remove Sprint Complete online, it says "internal error."

How can I cancel Sprint Complete online via chat? The only two chat options I see are Order and Sales, and either ask for Order specific or Sales specific info.

I know I also contacted Sprint via chat many months ago to swap devices. Is there no way to do that via chat any more? Thanks.

T-Mobile free activation is still available. Today I called T-Mobile and got an agent that asked to set up my new T-Mobile acct with 6 digits PIN and requested no payment. I was asked to use 4 digits pin before and request to put down $3, i believe somehow I have reached a different department today
