Anybody has good luck swapping sims using their online dashboard. Seems it's always not working. Have only done it once in 15 swaps. And if you go to their 24/7 chat, there is not a chat icon popping out.

Did your phone quit working with Sprint showing the port completed?

My dad's Moto G4 on this plan just broke, we grabbed him a warehouse deals Moto G6. If I lived in an area Sprint had service, I'd be all over this. Sprint stops working 1/2 mile before my house.
If TMobile works well at your house you might be good with the right phone.

Some phones get better unlimited TMobile free roaming privileges than others - these include iPhone 8 and higher and Samsung S8. Many of the Motos are not included in privileged LTE roaming, though they will get some if there is no Sprint signal at all.

Also phones with HPUE boost signals for greater range.

Also Sprint may give you a booster if you ask.

This only applies to data. Voice is separate but may also be covered via other roaming arrangements.

In case the problem is of one particular type, check this alternative (and less restrictive) Sprint web site also (this is not the same exact checker).

If it says you are ok, you are good to go by calling in to the number ending in 8777 to sign up.

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...hop:030918

This would not apply if the problem is with the phone number though (rather than with the IMEI)..

Agreed with elGator, when Chat does not pop up I have found it is usually a browser issue. I had problems with Firefox for ages but finally got it ok in Firefox. I had to use Chrome for a while.

seems i gave incorrect account number that messed up everything. T-mobile support is worst. their website all support guys say 877-778-2106 is prepaid support number that gets connected to post paid always. I gave the new account number now and porting completed still sprint website says my number and phone are not eligible

Ok did you try the link I posted?

This is NOT just an idle exercise.

This checker accepts more phones than the main one does. And when it does, you can activate them by calling in. Your phone may fall in this category.

Do you guys find it easy for chat to pop out? I don't think it's my ad blocker cuz I have done chat so many times. It's this instance when you want to swap sims that you need them and they don't pop out.

I have not done any very recently but when the problem has occurred in the past, the problem was not ad blocker as such. It was something else in the browser. I could not get them to work in Firefox for a long while, even with the Ad Blocker turned completely off, but they worked fine 100% in Chrome. I had similar problems with other sites as well in Firefox. I finally got it fixed by reinstalling etc.

I think chat in the phone App works more solidly as well - I would use that when necessary.

I don't have adblock, and I try not to call unless I don't have a choice.

Is anyone else having a major issue with Google Fi? I read through the FAQ and found on what needed to happen, but they are telling me I cannot de-register my phone until I switch to my new service since it's still active (they keep service active until you port your phone # to a new service). So now I'm trying to get them to move my service to a Nexus 5x and then de-register the Pixel XL.

The other thought I had - the Nexus 5x is showing as eligible on sprints website, does anyone know if I signed up with the Nexus 5x to get the promotion, could I just swap the SIM card over to the Pixel XL? Not sure if this would work properly.
