Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is anyone else having a major issue with Google Fi? I read through the FAQ and found on what needed to happen, but they are telling me I cannot de-register my phone until I switch to my new service since it's still active (they keep service active until you port your phone # to a new service). So now I'm trying to get them to move my service to a Nexus 5x and then de-register the Pixel XL.

The other thought I had - the Nexus 5x is showing as eligible on sprints website, does anyone know if I signed up with the Nexus 5x to get the promotion, could I just swap the SIM card over to the Pixel XL? Not sure if this would work properly.
Your second paragraph has no potential at all. You cannot swap sims to move service on Sprint.

On your first paragraph, you could argue, but probably easier to move it to elsewhere as an interim step, then proceed. if TMobile prepaid gives problems (I do not think it would but it is also a Fi partner) then maybe to an AT&T mvno.

You can sign up with sprint on the 5x and when done, call sprint for an 'esn swap' moving over to the pixel

My only concern with this switch would be it could cause me to lose this promotion since I'm changing the device? Not sure though.

No it would not cause you to lose this plan (you are listening to the wrong people and not reading the Wiki carefully) but in my opinion swapping it on would not work, any more than just adding it the regular way.

When the IMEI it is listed as mvno-owned in the Sprint database (Fi is considered an MVNO), you cannot swap it on either.

The solution is straightforward, It is not necessary to invent a new solution. Get it off Fi, then get Fi to flip the mvno flag off (more exactly from PLBL to SPCS) after that, then add it to this plan the normal way. Nothing else will work and nothing else is needed. Piles of people have done this successfully..

As hard as my wife spanks me during love making Big Grin

The hard pull is a utility pull, therefore your score should not drop much. Typically 5-15 points (if any), depending on your existing credit history. Nothing a Viagra can't fix.

Make more love!

Another successful port out to TMobile, port back in for another free year for 3 lines. Process was fairly simple, just followed the steps outlined.

I am having some trouble cancelling the insurance, getting an error when removing it online. Will try again tomorrow, then call if needed.

Also, for some reason the csr gave me another 2 months extension, my service is good through March 31 2020.

I just signed up for this. Make sure you dont get signed up for the wrong plan.

1. Order your sim card
2. Call the sales number on the same page that you order the sim card (not the normal sprint customer service, this promotion is a differentdepartment) to port your number and activate.

*** WARNING If normal sprint sets up your account wrong, it is a nightmare to fix it.

Every new account gets 3/31 end date currently. It is in the Wiki. They use standardized end-of-savings dates for months at a time so that they do not differ on every plan. That means they have to be set a couple of months out so that everybody signing up over that period with the current standardized end of savings date gets over 12 months.

Good news for all those who have activated the "loophole" Boost G6 Play phone that was available several months ago but is no longer.

1. The G6 is listed as a "Motorola z² Play - Open Market" in the accounts, NOT as a G6 Play, so it'll remain as a Sprint eligible device. When the Sprint reps are given the IMEI they identify it as a Motorola z² Play, as it is listed in the Sprint database.

2. The phone remains unlocked after it is taken out of Sprint to another provider and then brought back into another Sprint account. It does NOT get re-locked. The phone was originally unlocked for domestic and int'l use by Sprint 45 days after activating it in an account.

Some Sprint reps will tell you that they'll waive the $30 activation fee BUT that you're required to enroll in the Sprint Complete Care Service while others do not lie to do that.
It can be immediately deleted from your Sprint online account under Change Services. There is a lag before it appears in your Sprint online account as deleted but wait a few hours or a day and check again to see if it is deleted. It should be updated after a few hours.
You'll also get an email like this to confirm the deletion:

"Hi Abcdefg Hijklmnop,

Thanks for managing your Sprint account online. On 01/XX/2019 at 06:66:66 you asked us to change these services for 5551234567 on account number 123456789:

Removed: Device protection: Sprint Complete - $15.00/mo**

Be patient but if it's not deleted after several hours or a day at most chat with a Sprint rep while you're logged in to your Sprint account. Or you can call CS at 1-800-SPRINT1.
The chat icon may not appear with some browsers, it did not appear with Chrome but it did with MS Edge.

The T-Mobile method of porting out of Sprint to T-Mo and back to Sprint works well. It costs $2.50+$3.00+about $1.50Taxes=+/- $7.00.
Another option is AT&T but that costs about twice that, but it comes with a phone # IF you need it to port a new device and a new tel.# to Sprint to enroll in the BYOD 1 Year Free plan. If you read thru the Wiki and search this thread there are also other options to do what you want to do.

Will be facing this dilemma in a couple of months. What if I swap my Fi Pixel 3XL with a Nexus 5X thereby deactivating my 3XL from Fi, then asking them to flip the flag while I am not on any carrier. Then once flipped I'll port my number from Fi to a temporary prepaid like t-mobile.... And then port in to Sprint using the Pixel 3 XL.? What do you think Commie....? 🤔

When I try to remove Sprint Complete online, it says "internal error."

How can I cancel Sprint Complete online via chat? The only two chat options I see are Order and Sales, and either ask for Order specific or Sales specific info.

I know I also contacted Sprint via chat many months ago to swap devices. Is there no way to do that via chat any more? Thanks.
Figured out the problem: the chat button on sprint.com doesn't show up in firefox. Perhaps it's a setting I've disabled or an add-on that causes this. Shows up fine in IE.
