Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Exactly right.

What people need to do is NEVER expect ANYONE to call them back. Because mostly they won't. Just tell them you'll call them instead in a day because you do not answer incoming calls. This puts you back in control as well, which is what you want anyway.

Signed up in the beginning of the month and service has been great!

However, I have a question about international/toll phone numbers. Is there anyway to block the ability to make those calls? I accidentally made a call to a international phone number and I want to prevent it in the future.

How? I don't see the option for it. I see the option to block all calls but that's not what I want.

It is under Services as I recall.

You definitely missed something....... that's plainly listed in the Wiki, and for that you were needlessly punished. Read the Wiki again, CAREFULLY, and use the links there:

(This is just a copy with the links missing)

WIKI FAQs:

1: How can you get a 2nd year free?

since is for new customers u must port out the number.

step 1 port out the number

step 2
a. wait 45 days and port back into sprint using your own social sec #. this is a bit risky as the promotion may be over before 45 days are over.

b. next day (or 15-20 minutes later when the Check your Eligibility [sprint.com] page says Eligible), port back into sprint but have spouse, friend , relative be account holder (new customer requirement with a social sec #). to be clear the new account holder will be the one that will sign up. they will have to provide sprint with all their information. it is as if they are signing up, ideally this new account holder will be a spouse (ie someone u trust).

(You can Re-use your old Sprint SIM when porting back in, but you have to call the 866-782-8777 number to port).

below are details for step 1.

Order the cheap digital T-Mobile SIM Card from eBay

this or similar [ebay.com]

Easiest T-mobile porting method: With t-mobile sim in hand (digital or physical) you can use this link. [t-mobile.com]The cost for the pay as you go plan is $3+tax. All done online and final confirmation page will show your account number. Use pin number that you created in the process. (Note: You don't have to enter your IMEI number-just skip that) Ports usually complete within 5 minutes.

For porting multiple numbers from Sprint to Tmobile, using digital sims and on-line porting link above, at least two people had to port one line at a time (you have to go through the entire port to confirmation page, then create a Tmobile account or use different e-mail for next number). Adding more than one line caused the "Use your existing number" button to be greyed out, only allowing you to create a new number.

online option (one users experience):
The last two times I have called, the CSR said the new system requires funding upon activation. Today, he told me that up front before taking any information. I had a lot of trouble understanding him, so hung up and used the online link. The $3 plan is a little buried, so make sure to click on PAYGO. Also note the account number on the confirmation page after you pay. The account number is different than the phone number or 1+ the phone number. The email I received did not have the account number, so I was glad I still had the confirmation page open.

The online system has you set up a 4-digit PIN for account security, which is the same PIN for porting back to Sprint.
Thanks for quoting the whole wiki with non-relevant info about days/SSN and Tmobile $3 pay-as-you-go (that is actually non burried when you call and I've even mentioned it in my post) , but the question was where (except for free Apple store sim cards and having friends in Tmobile retail) did you got a physical SIM card for $2.50? Or I again miss smth on how to activate online and create account with virtual ICCID number (I cannot without activation code and physical SIM card to receive a message).

(I also know how to apply colors Wave )

I re-upped for a 2nd year yesterday. The phone call was an hour and the process was painfully slow because they try way too hard to be polite. I switched after using Mint for 3 months, and the cell service is already noticeably worse than Mint, and feels worse than my first year of Sprint as well. We'll see how it goes. They very pushy on the insurance coverage and adding hotspot service. I even think he mentioned roadside assistance at one point? So bizarre.

DashBoard: Manage Plan / See Details

Or you can see it in the MySprint App on the phone.

Just a heads up I ported to the T-mobile pay as you go and my account number was not '1+the phone number'. Luckily I found the account number in an email sent to me during the porting process.

Is there a minimum amount of time between a port in and out of T-Mobile prepaid? I did the port in and out of T-Mobile prepaid back to Sprint in October. Now doing the dance again, but this time, my port to T-Mobile is stuck for almost 48 hours now.

Here is my experience from Tmob to Sprint. Called Tmob to get the Pin number and they gave a hard time giving it since I have been tmob customer since 6 years. After couple of calls and angry representatives because I could not remember my pin that was set 6 years back, they finally agreed to give and asked where Im moving and said Sprint is not allowed to take tmob customers anymore for this free 1 year deal. Called sprint and they din't care where I am moving from, set the account up for 2 lines in just 30 minutes. Will receive my sim cards in a day and the lady said she will call me every day to check if i received and will help me there and then to port the numbers. Very happy with the customer care so far. And she din't even try to sell me any additional insurance and stuff like many others have reported.

Only issue for me was, I bought a sprint sim card from Sprint store before calling them, store rep knew which phone I needed the sim for and still the rep on phone said the ICCID from that sim is not valid for my phone. So I had to order online during the call.

Interesting that the TMobile reps lie just the same way the Sprint Telesales reps do and will say absolutely anything to try to make a sale or keep a customer! But you did not fall for it.
