Does anyone know if you can buy the SIM card from a Sprint store? Or do you have to buy it from their website?

Finally got one line transferred to T-Mobile and back to Sprint. I re-signed up for sprint with a new SSN through https://www.sprint.com/1yearfree, paid $2.99 + tax for the Sprint SIM, everything went through successfully.

Then went to sprint.com/activatenow, activated with pre-existing SIM. That went through successfully as well. But on the post-checkout confirmation page, it says the following:

FREE Unlimited data, talk and text until 9/30/19

Presumably a stale message?

Did a search but didn't see an answer, sorry if it's already been asked. I haven't been happy with my service and thinking about canceling. I'm about to receive my $30 activation fee credit. If I cancel with a $30 credit on my account do I just lose that or would Sprint send it back to me in a check?
Multiple people have confirmed they received a check in that case..

This is in the Wiki but I would note also that while you can get it from a corporate-owned store only ($2.99), some of these stores have refused to sell them if you are not already.a customer. It is supposed to be free for trouble-shooting and changing phones also. So YMMV. Independent Sprint stores charge varying amounts or may not sell them at all. Also some stores will be pretty aggressive about wanting to "install" them which may land you on a paid account unintentionally.

You can order the sim kit alone, with no connection to an order, from

https://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/...=affiliate

which may be easiest and faster. That one kit covers all phones.

Apple (often free) and BestBuy (price varies) are other options.

Sure Wiki is at post 3 in this thread.

As noted in it, you cannot add on HD Streaming and keep this plan. However in some areas you may find you have HD streaming anyway.

You should be able to.

Quite likely online signup may reject it (although try the checker), but a rep should be able to do it but only if you call the number ending in 8777. Do not ask Chat or call any other number.

You should read the Wiki if not done because a few issues may come up.

For sure, thanks. Currently the check says it's on sprint, obviously because it's on Tello now. I know I may have to ask tello to switch it to postpaid or ask the sprint community if Tello doesn't.
Just wanted to guage if anyone has had experience using the 4S previously with this plan. I was particularly looking for some negative experiences so i can convince my dad to upgrade his phone. laugh out loud
