Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

wiki will suggest best practices.
it also suggests AVOID going to store if possible.
trying to understand how to make wiki more clear.

also , the intent of this plan is "self-service" [u know what i mean]
main reason why they can keep it at $0.
so avoid store as much as possible.
many ways to get sim, which i am sure u have seen

edit: unless i am mistaken any additional lines HAVE TO BE ADDED via calling the special number
Thanks for the response. Appreciate it.

Finally got this working last night after being on chat for over an hour. Kept getting invalid sim card on on my Moto g6.

One quick question, data is pretty slow at my house but when I enable data roaming it speeds up pretty good. Any issues with using data roaming? Ill mainly be using wifi at home but when out and about, etc?

Anyways great deal, plan on adding my wifes iphone 7 as well.
Search this thread for "roaming".
Look at this:

Also see this:

Roaming fees can be very expensive. Avoid it.

4 months ago I ported 5 lines in for this deal, but today I received an email from Sprint saying I'm eligible for an upgrade. I thought that phones under this deal didn't qualify for upgrades with monthly payments.

So I click the link but Sprint's site says only two of my lines can do an upgrade, and the others can't for 600+ days.

Why do you guys think these lines are showing as up-gradable, and will upgrading one phone covertly kill my free contract?

The new TMobile roaming agreement (which was not in place when the older post linked to was written) is free and unlimited and is not included in your roaming total shown in your account. It is not even officially called roaming but some phones still show it as roaming. Most iPhones no longer show it as roaming.

In general, this is what people are seeing and they should leave it enabled. It is an important improvement to Sprint's service and should not be disabled.

What people need to do is look at the roaming total in their Sprint account running usage total. As long as it stays at zero, it is free unlimited TMobile roaming.

If that total starts going up, then it is AT&T or Verizon roaming and then, yes, it should be turned off.

But normally what people are seeing is the new free unlimited TMobile roaming which is a tremendous enhancement to Sprint's service.

I have personal experience with this. I now routinely see it use TMO bands 2 and 4 in certain situation such as in gyms and stores where the Sprint signal is weak.

Actually you can force roaming on some Android phones - there are posts on this and it is in the Wiki I believe

Do not worry about hypothetical problems that are not a practical issue unless maybe you are driving cross-country or something like that). .

Please see the last few posts.

What is the confusion?

Free unlimited TMobile roaming is now here and is a tremendous enhancement to Sprint's service.

Interesting, thanks. I'll have to check and see what bands I'm using. Are you using an app to determine the band usage?

The problem with roaming, especially when travelling, is that there is no indication on what system one is roaming on, and roaming fees can add up pretty fast.
Even if one checks the account every few minutes certainly there must be a time lag where the roaming fees will not be posted on the account. Is that time lag 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day, etc.? Unless absolutely necessary or unless one knows with certainty that the roaming is on T-Mo, roaming should be used with care or be avoided.

Yes I am.

LTE Discovery is best for free use.

Better yet is SignalCheck Pro but the free version of that is no good.

I'm sure you already know but I'll post this here for others:

Sprint may terminate svc. if off-network roaming usage in a mo. exceeds:
(1) 800 min. or a majority of min.; or (2) 100MB or a majority of KB
