Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Sure via port-out to another carrier, then port-in (see Wiki for exactly how to do this).

I assume the two plans are under separate SSN's and that the phone is fully paid off and not under any payment plan etc.

yes they are under different SSN's and no payments due on phones as i own them.

So i guess have to wait 45 days before porting back into sprint and will they be able to replace the current no on the free plan or do i have to open another line?

You only have to wait 45 days if it is the same SSN, Please read the Wiki.

Why not just port it in as another line rather than replace the original phone and replace the original number?

That would have less risk of a mix-up and is beyond question legitimate..

Then kill off the original line.

so you just call and ask them to add another line and it'll also have the free plan..

That is correct. No new credit check is needed.

A port-in of a number from a non-Sprint carrier is required.

Make sure you call only the number ending in 8777 given in the Wiki. Other departments will not work.

You can use the same phone, phone number, and sim but it must already be off Sprint, either on a non-Sprint carrier or just not connected to any carrier.

Just accept the Sprint Complete plan if they push it. Cancel it later the same day via Chat.

No. Tello uses Sprint. They activate by IMEI not by the Sim. More information in the wiki
I just want to clarify 100%. So I'm porting a Tmobile # to get the Sprint deal. I just want to know if I can keep a separate Tello number active while I have Sprint. I'm guessing no since they use the same kind of sim (according to the wiki) but I just want to make sure before I buy a cheap phone to maintain the tello #. Thanks again.

I called. They said my SSN is still in their system ( I had SERO). Then they tried to remove it. But after 40mins, they said I have to get someone else's SSN ... as I am not eligible.
I signed up 2 account for people in the last couple weeks, both people that previously had sprint accounts. The agent saw the old account, got someone from the credit department on the line who removed the SS from the old account both times. It does seem to be of great help if you know the pin or secret question to the account. As was said, if your old account is over 45 days, then try again and or try calling the credit department directly to request your SS be removed from that account so you can come back.to sprint

I'm planning on trying to sign up this weekend. I am currently a Sprint customer with 5 lines, but I called in to cancel which isn't happening until the end of my billing cycle on the 6th. If I port my numbers out of Sprint and into Number Barn, will my account be closed/cancelled at that point?

Also, I plan to have someone else from within my family plan register as the new account owner. However, will our phones be eligible if we're just bringing back the same Sprint phones/SIMs that we just had? I would assume so as long as they're ported over to Number Barn, correct?

Just want to make sure that porting over from Number Barn to Sprint will register as phones/lines from a new carrier.

I will. I asked 'so that means I won't be able to come back to Sprint ever'? The rep said, sure you can, just not the free 1-yr promotion program.

Nonsense. Don't believe the Reps. Believe the knowledgeable folks here. Read the wiki.

Not sure why you were trying to make this complicated. Your situation is quite common. Solution is spelled out in the wiki. Reed Wiki

You can get a cheap phone and swap it on to your tello line to free up that phone but you'll have to ask tello to flip the prepaid flag back to postpaid but they may not be willing to do so. In that case you'll have to contact Sprint. More details are in the wiki.

Or maybe someone else has a suggestion.
