Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Do you pay up-front for a few months, or is it $0 immediately?

I just got a brand new sealed sprint iphone 6 plus. Does the method of putting a verizon SIM card to unlock first still work? I am trying to have it unlocked before activating on sprint network.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Depends on where pirchased,
The iPhone 6 plus model A1524 was sold by Sprint and is probably already locked to Sprint. The Sprint A1524 has model order#'s beginning with MGC* or MGD* and include the sprint sim card in box, these would be locked.
The iphone 6 plus model A1524 was also sold as sim free/unlocked and maybe subject to US Reseller Flex Policy. These had model order#' beginning with MGA* and would not include a sim card. These could be probably be unlocked with verizon sim trick.
It doesnt hurt to try
The model order#/part# should be on box.

Sprint has a promo of $100 back in mastercard on a new phone purchase and a new line activated. Details of the promo say SRP of phone should be greater than $100.

Now this promo shows up on pages of $96 phones, and also on individual pages of pre-owned phones. I have tried calling sprint stores, CS, the number listed on the promo page, but not able to get any conclusive answer from any of them. Anyone here knows if pre-owned or $96 phones qualify for this promo?

Since the promo says "full price phone" -> does that mean pre-owned is out?

Also, are sprint's pre-owned phones usually a risk worth taking?

TIA

What is the part number MXXXXLL/A as printed on the box? Is there a SIM ICCID printed on the box? Where did you buy it from?

That part# is Sprint iphone 6s A1687 32Gb in space gray. It is not a sim free part# so the verizon sim card trick will not work. The phone will be locked to sprint so you will have to wait 50 days to unlock. It will qualify for free BYOP.
Only certain part#'s of model A1634 are considered sim free and subject to US reseller's flex policy.
In terms of carrier bands between A1687 and A1634 the only difference is A1634 includes Lte band 30(used by ATT) . The rest are identical.

It's locked to Sprint. Not the SIM-free with US Reseller Flex Policy, therefore can't be SIM unlocked with Verizon SIM.

That Mastercard promo does not apply to this free plan.

It applies only to KickStart which is $25 a month..

To understand what this plan is about, we suggest reading the Wiki which is the third post in this thread.

There are $35 phones that work fine (search the thread for LG G5).
