Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My current iphone 7 is from ATT and hence not eligible. but i am thinking of trade it in to get a new 7 from apple which is carrier free. would that work for this sprint deal?
Sure, the sim free will do. Make sure it's the a1660 model.

I joined in December, 4 lines.

Brother upgraded with apple today using the apple plan, so he got dropped off the unlimited.

If he switches to Tmobile, will it cause a problem with the other 3 lines on this account?

have u read the wiki?

if no, read wiki
has lots of good information.

Note 8: porting out of sprint
if u hate the service best to cancel via porting out of sprint.
that will cancel the account.
if u go this route, u must port out every number to have account completely cancelled.
if u have more than 1 line, then porting out 1 line will not effect the others.
if u dont care about number, port out to h20 and let number die.
h20 sim are pretty inexpensive on amazon.
order now as it is good to have h20 sim on hand for future use.

Yes I did, sorry I should have said because he is no longer on this plan anymore as they auto changed him to another more expensive plan if that will cause a problem but I guess not. Looking to avoid an early termination fee or something like that.

By the way, if the reason he got switched to the paid plan was that his end of savings date was reached, that would normally affect all lines on the plan, because all would normally have the same end date, regardless of when each line was added.

But maybe it was for another reason.

Could be any number or reasons now that I read his post closer. Assuming he signed up December of 2018, it hasn't been the required 120 days to upgrade, his brother may have upgraded instead of purchasing the phone outright from Apple and did it through apple and not through sprint.

Im confused. Do we have to be with another carrier and switch to Sprint to get this deal? Im only with Freedompop. And I have no intention of staying with Sprint after the year? Is this kosher? Anyone else doing that? TIA

That is correct and did occur to me also.

Probably that is the case but I try not to make assumptions which will often be wrong. Better to just ask.

That's kosher but please read the third post in this thread (the Wiki) for details and to avoid a long stream of questions..

Correct, my brother did the monthly upgrade plan instead of buying the phone outright, so it switched his plan to one that is $120 a month. He is going to drop to T-mobile I think.

That's too bad.
I guessed it was along those lines but I asked just in case because it is better to ask than to just assume.
