Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is Band 41 important for coverage? I got a great deal on an iPhone SE but sadly I realized there are at least 2 models and one doesn't support it. But it does have Band 12, does it switch to T-mobile generously? Will that make up for it?

I wish the wiki mentioned it. P̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶f̶o̶ ̶s̶e̶e̶m̶s̶ ̶w̶r̶o̶n̶g̶,̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶s̶a̶y̶s̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶m̶o̶d̶e̶l̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶i̶P̶h̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶6̶S̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶B̶4̶1̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶a̶s̶e̶.̶ ̶B̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ I assumed SE would have it due to 6S internals.

Edit: Also has there been any more success stories about skipping the credit check? Now that there is a big bold text on sprint.com that implies it's no longer a strict requirement for all post-paid.

Went back a few pages and didn't find anything on this. Are we able to take advantage on the deal for the S10+ at Best buy? Shows the unlocked version with Sprint activation is $900. Plus whatever trade in you do.

I wish the wiki mentioned it. Part of the info seems wrong, it says all models of iPhone 6S have B41 but this is not the case. Because of this I assumed SE would have it due to 6S internals.
Band 41 is generally more important for speed than for coverage, although there are cases (for example, to use a Magic Box or certain small cell repeaters in shopping centers etc) where you might not have coverage without it. Also, in a few areas, everything except band 41 is overloaded.

It would not allow you onto TMobile just to give you a higher speed, if you have an "adequate" connection on any Sprint band.

By the way you need iPhone 8 or above for VoLTE (simultaneous voice and data).

Was able to sign up second time for Free unlimited. Waited about 20 days after i ported out to Metro. I did not want to pay Metro a second month since their service has been so bad. Luckily I did not have to wait 45 days to re-sign up with same SS#.
Anyways, all works however disturbed Sprint forces you on the 'Sprint Complete' insurance plan. Even after I told agent no I don't want it, he said I have no choice and then to goto dashboard to remove it. Well, when I go to dashboard>My Sprint>More>Change services...I get an error. Then I chatted with 'international' chat because all the other chats redirected to nonsense. That chat agent said he removed it..But now when I check my services online it shows its 'checked'.. When I go to uncheck it>confirm>it says 'internal error'.. what a shocker?!?!? Anyways...not cool Sprint..glad I am getting for free.second time..

Today I noticed both lines (initial line opened 2/8, second line added 2/19) say "Upgrade available on: 2-1-2021 - 709 days" on sprint.com and the Sprint app. Prior to today it said "Today" Is this just a placeholder or glitch? I'm sure we'll be fine after the 120 days, but just wondering what you guys accounts show. Specifically those under 120 days.

Normal -- it'll change to "today" once 120 days have passed

If Chat does not work and you get errors on the Web Site, most likely your browser cache has old corrupt data.

Try on a different browser or computer or look at Adblock settings..

Once you get regular Chat working, they will check that it took for you. Or you can use Chat on the phone. I assure you these things are not broken for everybody.

Anyone have any issue bringing an unlocked iphone 6 over? I can successfully activate it but the phone says "no service" 99% of the time... and ive tried two different Sprint sim cards. When I use a Sprint 5S I've got full service.

You may not be inserting the correct simcard model. I had a similar issue with iPhone 8. I had a simcard with part # SIMOLW416Q which seemed compatible but never worked. I went to an apple store and they gave me another simcard which was SIMGLW416Q.

Thanks - hopefully this is what's causing it.

But I figure the two models I've used that say they're both compatible don't end up??

The two ive tried are SIMOLW506C and SIMGLW436C.

Those are fine so that's not the problem.

I assume you know you cannot just stick in a sim card.

You have to update the system for it..

Right.

I've just done this on Sprint's "activate" section where I'm punching in IMEI's and ICCID's. Is there something im missing?

Sprint just tells me to wipe off my sim card, call their ## numbers or wait an hour...

No I see see you know how to swap sim cards then..

Sim cards are rarely a problem.

Maybe summarize the problem again and ask for ideas from others.

I've read this thread for over a year and finally just had to join Slickdeals to post in case it may help someone.

I've not had any problem getting a rep to waive the insurance when signing up or changing a phone, BUT, I recently changed a Samung S6 onto a line and purposely signed up for the insurance. It had a broken microphone so had to be used on speakerphone. Way to expensive to have fixed for the value of the phone, but the Sprint insurance does not exclude "preexisting conditions" as with the ACA. A couple days after moving the phone and taking the insurance I took it to the Sprint store to be fixed. There is no charge for functional problems, just broken screens. So for free, they replaced the board with the mic, charge port, etc., in a new display (even tho the old one was fine) and a new battery. A few days later I canceled the insurance.

So, for $15 or so in premiums, I have a like new Galaxy S6.
