Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My phone got water damaged and it doesn't recognize the SIM. How can I get a new compatible sim for my moto g5+? I realize it's probably something on the board but I want to double check

I ported my main number and signed up with my XS yesterday. Super long process with almost 50 minutes on the phone. I think the xfinity mobile port took longer than expected (but thank god!).

One thing the rep said threw me. I didn't want to argue having been on the line for 40 already. She gave me this spiel about not being able to 'change' the phone on the plan for 120 days. I specifically asked her if she meant 'upgrade' and she said not even 'swap'. Is this true?

I've checked the wiki and it says otherwise - ie you should be able to swap phones at will as long as the imei in sprint's system gets updated to the new phone, you should be fine. I was going to try with an iphone SE I have lying around but the sprint self-serve site is down.
I was told the same thing about 120 days. I suspect it is the phone insurance thing which I chatted to remove it. However, I am not entirely certain since I didn't catch what he said (you mentioned Spiel).

She doesn't know or lied. You can swap the eligible phones at anytime. Try the chat, I was able to swap in minutes.

Never EVER listen to the phone reps. Only go by what is in the wiki.

You can definitely get a new sim as per SamKQboro and the Wiki and try it (you will need to update the ICCID via the Dashboard or Chat) but I would bear in mind that the sim reader pins in the phone are more fragile than the sim and go bad a lot more often than the sim does.

Still, I would definitely try a new sim first because it is so easy to do so for only $2.99.

Post if you have trouble identifying which sim you need from the chart, or just get the 4 in one kit from a corporate owned store or online (see Wiki) for $2.99 (in fact they should give you a sim for free at a corporate store since it is for repair/testing purposes and you are an existing customer).

Incompatible Sim is common knowledge and explained in detail in the wiki.
Different model phones require different Sims. If you swap devices for the exact same device you can reuse your sim.

Data speeds compared to T-Mobile are region dependent.
Some areas get zero T-Mobile data and excellent Sprint data.
also there is a lot of information in this thread regarding T-Mobile roaming now on Sprint.
I have yet to see it in my area however

Renewed for one more year. It's been so nice saving a boat load each month. Luckily sprint works well for me. The rep would honestly not give up on me saying no about the $15 protection plan. So I finally gave in and removed it with online chat as soon as I hung up with him. He kept saying since they are waiving the activation fee I had to get this. I lol'd and said yeah ok.

As Sprint and T-Mobile are merging, can someone please confirm if they have been able to successfully port from a T-Mobile pay as you go plan to this Sprint BYOD plan recently ?
